mercury_in_flames
i had to hold back on my ac.dc album i had ordered I will probably just get it on the 22nd, meh. I've realised that I really prefer led zeppelin live much more than otherwise. An example being, 'Dancing Days' on the album 'How The West Was Won' is sung alot better with more 'notes' i mean less of a 'dull' sound than on this album. I really wish they had done a box set with all the songs live (I already have 'how the west was won'.*edit* I meant sung in less of a 'moody' tone Edited December 13, 2005 by GregTheRotter

Zombi3
Here is what has been going through my Minidisk player lately.Album: Human BeansArtist: Earthlings?Info: A blend of Desert Rock, Space-like trance, and some echoing guitar madness, 'Human Beans' offers the listener the opportunity to take a trip from the sand dunes of the Joshua Tree desert sands to the clumpy surface of the moon. The songs often feature such ambience that if caught unaware, you may forget where you are for a moment. A true experiment in music, Earthlings?' 'Human Beans' will not dissappoint those looking for something new and in the vien of a mixture between Kyuss and Daft Punk.Album: BubblegumArtist: Mark LaneganInfo: Another powerful solo album from former Screaming Trees frontman Mark Lanegan. A mixture of Blues, Desert Rock, and slow burning fuel. Lanegan's 60 Cigarette a day Howl and obvious drug-laden past comes through in his voice as his lyrics write a riddle for all to take in, but few can answer. While some songs sort of let go of the reality that Lanegan is trying to show, the rest of the album will wrap up around you and keep you warm in a meth-induced warmth. Album: You're a Woman, I'm a MachineArtist: Death from Above 1979Info: An experimental band consisting of two members. A Bassist, and a Drummer, both of which can make themselves sound like a full band with ease. The genious behind this album is often overlooked, as no one who would see this in stores would actually know that unless they looked hard enough or was told. The bass is, however, made out to sound like a guitar/Bass hybrid by using slight overdrive and lots of treble. The drummer does well to fill in the rest of the gaps, while singing no less. While the lyrics aren't exactly genious, they are unorthodox and often talk about things not often discussed in 'hard' rock. On several songs, a synthesizer is added for extra flavour.
