  1. wouldn't mind hosting it if i had enough space...but i think there a few free servers out there that i have found that will host up to 100MB free i think...try looking for domaindlx (i think they're one of the ones that allow this much free hosting...)
  2. the Sony charger that came with my unit outputs 500mA 3V DC...and it looks like that that adaptor isn't charging ur unit as you will see the battery meter start increasing repeatedly to indicate charging...and since u see the battery sign blinking very fast and the music stops it could probably mean that it's not charging the unit and your battery is dead...
  3. heh...now i wonder who still has money to burn on a Hi-MD after they've bought a $2k Qualia MD
  4. did u mean which Hi-MD can record and playback??? or did u mean which Hi-MD can record while playing back??? if u meant the 1st q i asked then basically any of the NH1, NH900, NHF800 and NH700 these units can record as well as playback Hi-MD's...if u meant the 2nd q i asked then i don't think there is any unit out there that can do this (any one correct me if i'm wrong)
  5. u could rip it to a .wav file and then transfer it over thru usb or use analogue instead of digital to record...
  6. SS2.0 and on regular Pro...i hav'n been bothered to go out and get MS Duo Pro sticks yet but will do in the near future...and no i havn't tried using the MS w/ the NW-MSxx...handheld as in CLIE u mean??? if so then no coz i don't own a CLIE...the MW-MS70D should be able to read them provided you record in ATRAC3Plus and use the right settings i spose...
  7. yeh it could be your router...i have problems with my firewall on my router blocking ports that software needs to connect to...
  8. u don't neccessarily have to check the tracks back in but u do need a PC to delete the songs...
  9. yup i hav 2 2nd BJ's suggestions above...i've own these 2 units myself and they're still working...(unlike some of my newer units that fail w/in a yr)
  10. um try updating to SonicStage 2.0....see if that helps...
  11. did u install the NetMD drivers for SonicStage 2.0 by ne chance???
  12. yup it does...it works fine on my VAIO's MS drive to record to MS Pro sticks (provided it's MG certified)
  13. try upgrading to SonicStage 2.0...this is by far more stable than the previous version IMO...i've been using it on my laptop to transfer to both MS and MD and they both work fine...the .omg file should be located in a specific folder it should be located in the Settings > Location to save record files...
  14. i'll be getting the NH1.... dunno if i'll buy a player yet...will have to wait and c...
  15. i might get the Japanese model of the NH1 when it gets announced...since i want to have a unit that can read kanji...oh and if ur living around Sydney there is a third party Sony shop (down near Town Hall station on the Star Bar side of George St...entrance next to EasyWay and opp. Nitrogen when u follow the tunnel down to Town Hall station) that will be getting in Hi-MD units hopefully by June as well...so if u want to see the units first hand @ a retail outlet that's the shop to go to as it'll be the 1st shop that will display/sell Hi-MD units in Sydney...
  16. yep think that's it...id3 tags done in iTunes don't transfer over...it can't be read properly in another player like winamp so that may be causing the problem....
  17. unfortunately yes...they save them as .omg files...which u can then delete off ur hdd when ur done...SimpleBurner does this automatically but yep since u seem 2 have problems with it just delete the songs from ur hdd once ur done ripping...
  18. see the reply i made on ur other post (found here)
  19. that's sony's programming 4 ya... um best bet is to not use it if ur getting a lot of trouble...u could try using either SonicStage 2.0 or RealPlayer 10 to transfer...i've had far less problems while using these 2 softwares as opposed to SimpleBurner...
  20. i think what he means is that SonicStage 2.0 is newer than SonicStage 1.5 which is newer than OpenMG 2.2...so the latest build of the software is SonicStage 2.0...
  21. really??? i thought it did...all of the songs that i've imported the id3 tag also gets carried...
  22. did u install the new NetMD drivers for this version of SonicStage or did u install the N505 drivers that came w/ the CD???
  23. heyy there, sorry i don't seem to quite get what u r trying to do here...if u could elaborate on what u meant by then i would probably be able to help u more...
  24. if ur talking about that PC Link device from XiTeL then yep it will work (so long as the device has Mac support i.e.)
