Glad to hear everything is okay now. Make sure you have your latest windows updates to avoid viruses and such!

Welcome. Well, you purchased a rather low-end model that didn't have great construction to begin with. I would highly suggest you look into a more advanced model, such as the Hi-MD line. They have greater recording options and have the ability to upload your recordings made via microphone to computer steadfast via USB. As this is a unit issue, I will move it to the correct forum. I would also recommend you upgrade your computer to Service Pack 2.

Welcome to the forums. Is this happening to all of your mp3's? What kind of bitrate are the mp3's encoded in? You may also want to post your system specs according to the rules.

Welcome, willton. I would also suggest upgrading to Sonicstage 3.3, for the best possible experience.

Try clearing your cache and cookies. It's working fine for me. -
Looks pretty keen -- never seen a DIN unit with a SD slot before! I don't think those exist in the US yet. Shame its not working anymore, what did you have in mind to replace it?

t's because your password has a symbol in it. Change it to one that doesn't have such.

Sony Japan has apparently phased out production of DAT (mech. trans), and also noting the ironhorse TCD-D100 model will no longer be produced after December. Sony will continue to offer repairs and blank media. (via engadget) -cgm+++ Will this lead to more interest in the Hi-MD format as a professional recording medium? Are more "MZ-M" models on the way?

Why not put these in the Gallery and link them accordingly? I'll take a listen when I get home. -
Well, it's a little higher than that -- 4.12% of the visitors here are people on Mac computers. That doesn't speak for everyone, but is noteable nonetheless.

I have updated this thread for firmware v2.6 -- a few of the International sites haven't released v2.6..yet.

3.2mbps down/256kbps up free because I work at the cable company.

It has Penelope Cruz as well.

It already runs under WINE. I dunno, Mac and Hi-MD may become a possible reality once they move to Intel, but with their divisions floundering as they are I don't see any possibility of a sudden surge of interest.

Vanilla Sky scares the crap out of me because I relate to it on so many levels, and alot of the worldly things displayed in that movie were things I was fond of before seeing it. Did you ever see the original mexican version?

Welcome to the forums. What error do you get?

You can control whether or not it formats, it's not an automatic thing. Try that out.

Do you have a link for that, gary?

lol..hilarious! -------- It would be nice to edit the Guidelines and lay out a ideal forum setting in which everyone would abide by. But no matter how big the link, the banner, the pop-up, people wouldn't follow it. I think the attitude here is lax, but at the same time efficient. A good example of this is ATRACLife. We direct people to ATRACLife when they post topics about non-MD Sonicstage woes, we close the thread and ask them nicely to post there. Some people have gotten enraged about this, even to the point of banning (don't worry, that bloke ran his mouth too much with profanities). But what has spawned from this course of action is a more efficient search database. MDCF is one of the best archived and maintained forums I've seen for information. As we work on the FAQ's, noobs develop our vernacular and skills steadfast and it's really reflected in the way people introduce themselves -- isn't that what it's all about anyways? We run a somewhat tight ship, but no one is not credited for their contribution and we really try to champion the efforts of our users. In the various social enviroments I'm in each day in real life, this is a nice place to be. If you really feel that your stepping on too many toes then I feel you've really misconcieved the forum. I would also wonder why anyone observe this type of attitude and not contact myself or a Moderator.

Hi friend, please inquire about this at our sister forum ATRACLife Colloquium -- they handle the non-MD there. -
MDcenter.nl's Definitive MZ-DH10P Review/Pictorial
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in News
Excellent pictorial and review; things like the pictures taken via the unit and the spinning *.gif really add personality. Will you review more units? -
Letztes Jahr im Sommer, that tape is rockin..please share more eccentric purchases. I just purchased the new refault skin for the forums.

An epic MZ-DH10P summation by Marck from MDcenter.nl has debuted. With thousands of words, dozens of pictures (inc. menus on device) and even photos taken by the unit, it is the quintessential guide for anyone considering the only Hi-MD Photo unit in existence. The MZ-DH10P can be found for a reasonable sum at Minidisco. - cgm

Just like the NW-HD# hacks to defeat the European output limitation, there is a service mode trick that will do the same for the NW-A3000 and NW-A1000 as well. No word yet on the NW-A608, but it will most likely not be able to be changed. Thank you very much to nw_lover for the tip. You must first enter test mode, as instructed (ignore step three for now): Proceed to alter the setting accordingly: Turn the unit off afterwards via the directions in step 3.

Wow, very shocking -- from CNN:
