  1. You could try mac transfer in the download section or I would think the Mac software should have came with the unit. Good luck either way TTFN Bob
  2. Hey Rich, have a great one and enjoy life. Take care Bob
  3. Hey there boojum, Happy birthday good buudy, hope the next 67 treat you well, and hope you keep on recording. Take care, Bob
  4. http://www.akiba-gadgets.com/?cat=2 This link also shows a new TEAC MD CD deck (unfortunately still MDLP), and several new blanks (unfortunately 74 and 80 minutes) Seems to me like MD is still alive. BTW lots of neet stuff on this site. TTFN Bob
  5. A friend of mine married Katryn Frederick last year here in Little Cayman and I was their best man, Roger and Kathryn supply me with all the related CD's of the extended band family, great stuff, have you been to Church lately, and do you have any recordings from there?? Take care, Bob
  6. Also looks like they will accept USB DAP input, and for around $400 USD or so, I want one, Bob
  7. Need a liitle more info, what kind of unit, etc!!! try taking the battery out and putting a fresh pattery in and see what happens. Good luck and hope it revitalizes, Bob
  8. You could also have bought a Hi-MD unit and do the transfer digaitally. The RH-1 is the cat's meow. but an NH-700 should do what you need it to do. Good luck and happy MD'ing Bob
  9. That works with straight time, but anything net-md and himd you can digital transfer at much higher speed, and with the Hi-MD and es[ecially the RH1 you can upload to the computer digitally as well. HTH Bob
  10. What vesion of sonicstage do you have, get at least 3.4. and see what a world of difference it makes. The other thing, your 707 is on it's last legs, if you don't have the record head problem, you will. Do yourself a favour and get a Hi-MD unit, an NH-700 won't break the bank and will increase you're pleasure. Again your biggest improvement will be updating sonicstage. Good luck Bob
  11. Any time a service shuts down unexpectadly XP sets an error, if the program works I'd ignore the flag. I'm tired of this feature of XP. Good luck Bob
  12. Hi there, a couple of options, try going to a newer version of sonic stage, go to at least 3.4, you can also try burning the files to cd and use simpleburner to put them on your md, third is real time. Good luck, Bob
  13. Hi Bia and welcome, Your answers are in the forum, but basically you have two options, get an RH1 to digitally transfer, or get an 1/8"to 1/8" adapter, plug one end into your 707 lin out/headphone socket, and the other into your line in/mic of your sound card or computer. You may also need a third party program like audacity, marcs MD renderer or real audio. press play on the 707 and record on the program. Good luck, Bob
  14. I bought an NH1 from them, had no problems, where are you, package may be lost in the ozone, it took about ten days to make it to the Cayman Islands. My advice, give it a couple of more days. God luck Bob
  15. Thanks loads, Will have to head west and see what happens. Take care, Bob
  16. "when flash memory is so much more reliable and cheaper, etc." Is flash really cheaper than about $6.00 a gig?? Just a thought, although I pretty much agree with everything else, Bob
  17. I have heard problems if the remote is attached when recording, worth a try if that was the case. Good luck, and welcome, Bob
  18. (i'd rather see my precious junk there than her junk junk.. They just don't understand that we need our junk space, Bob
  19. Forgot Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Outkast, TTFN Bob
  20. ditto on the eyglass kit, also try an electronic repair shop, that should get you going. Another alternative buy a junker unit for parts, I have a 707 and NH1 that I can cannibalize, If you can't find anything PM me and I will send you a couple, Bob
  21. And now for something completely different, who don't you like to listen to? Let's not flame somone for their choices, we are all unique and above that stuff right!! I'll start the ball rolling. I really don't much care for U2 and Coldplay, they just grate on me. who's brave enough to be next Bob

    RH1 or RH10/M100?

If I were me I wouldn't think twice, RH 1 all the way, with a 40 ELK remote. The RH10 as nice as it's display is just looks too unfinished compared to the RH 1, and if you have MP3's the RH10 and the rest of the second generation had some listenng issues. JMHO Bob
  23. Thanks Chris, appreciate it,

    Best of the rest

    Bob
