all of the RH10s have the organicEL display the japanese model has an lcd remote & cradle though were the US version has a non-lcd remote & no stand.

just get the one from www.connect.com i've been using it for months & im in melbourne. use internet explorer to get the download btw. the one in the downloads section is intended for use on computers without an internet connection. the connect version is for online use. being in australia you won't be able to purchase music from the online store. if you need further help private message me & maybe i can send you a copy of it.

i'd be getting a himd regardless. both of these models are getting on & have had problems, the recording head issue with the n1 & the lion battery in the n10. the repair costs for older models are a scandal imo. there is significant compatibility between the newer models & your preexisting equipment, search for rh10 & rh910 reviews on here for more info.

please uninstall then reinstall via the directions in this thread http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=8071 use www.connect.com to obtain the newest sonicstage 3.2. if this fails to fix the porblem please post the full specs of the computer.

i like cdex. it uses eac but has a better UI imo. http://cdexos.sourceforge.net

try converting the file with cdex to the same bitrate & then reimport.

sorry but gen two himd [rh10, rh910, nh710] all support native mp3 along with both atrac3 & atrac3+ atrac3/+ since 3.2 can be drm free allowing multiple uses. there is still the codec to be installed on nonsonicstage computers.

please update the sonicstage version to 3.2 why are you burning atrac3 cds? - Have you read the general FAQ? - Update your operating system. Unless you have a very good reason not to [no net connection, known software incompatibility], apply those service packs. - Update your SonicStage, Simple Burner, HiMDRenderer, and Wave Converter to the most recent versions [note that Wave Converter is no longer required as a separate download as of SonicStage v3.x] When making a support request, be as thorough with your information as possible. The more you tell us, the more likely a solution can be found. Include as much tech info as you can provide, including but not limited to: - Operating system version and service pack level - SonicStage and Simple Burner versions, if relevant - Whether codec packs have been installed on the system [especially FFDSHOW - turn off the mp3 bit] - the model of the recorder/downloader involved - Basic computer hardware info, including as a minimum: CPU type/speed; amount of RAM installed; USB interface version [1.0, 1.1, or 2.0] - List of applications that were running when the problem occurred, especially USB helper utilities for devices such as mice or cameras, antivirus app and their version, and anything else that loads on boot and is always open in the background [or the windows system tray, down by the clock in the corner] - Are you truly anti-virus free? if it's the us model it won't come with the lcd remote. any pics & explanation of the remote will probably aid your selling prospects.

you have an RH10 at present the softaware only works on m10 & m100 models

simple burner still applies DRM & afaik always will. sb always gives you a track recorded on a diff. computer error. it's a trade off for not leaving a copy in your library.

i have about 30 of these unopened. for awhile last year these were the cheapest md80s in australia, about au$2 each.

the mj50 has a 3.5mm jack witha 'sleeve' around it for the remote, from the pics the look identical.

you're showing your [our?] age damage, surely the kids would respond better to the matrix? i hope pagerank continues to screw up occasionally, otherwise the resistance might be found.
