just as the South Park "Underwear Nomes" hoarded underwear for "Steps 1 and 3";; they,, the South park nomes are now into hoarding Hi-MD blanks;; they are only on Step one,, waiting for further instructions from Sony.. (IMO)..

the sony surplus store in Wrentham, Ma had only one Hi-MD unit on display Sunday and NO Hi-MD discs on display..they always had Hi-MD discs there before..

Spanish Eyes by "Me" Rayzray;; i have been whining for weeks about what i am gonna get for christmas;; my wife finally took me out yesterday and gave me a limit.. i got a Casio WK-8000 Keyboard and i am listening to my first sequence recording (4 Tracks) of Spanish Eyes.. Cool,, like i am going back to the old days.. [late edit] i can wait for the mix-down to my MD-Deck and my Hi-MD900's!!

yes;; i have had those problems only with the Memorex MD;s;; but only them.. no big thing;; i used them strickly for editing songs (one songs at a time) into bitsa and pieces.. i found useing the 74 min MD's for DJ'ing were much more reliable than the 80 min ones.. when any MD gives me a slight problem;; i mark an "x" on it;; when it get's 4 "x's",, it get's thrown away.. two "x",, and i it get's another job in my studio;; i would NEVER try to sell them and pass on unwanted nightmares and fligorettos..

can (Add) a chapter after reading a portion;; kind of like a bookmark;; to bad i hate reading and never read a book in my life;; but,, maybe i should start "Listening" to some Audio Books..

i tried to set up a friend's audio once;; and he had a bose system;; that had a sort of "Pre-amp" to the Bose speakers,, or something like that.. i was asking if they still do that;; you couldn't just connect the speakers to the amp..

sorry;; soooo,, does Bose still use that special pre-amp inbetween?? My "X" was over for christmas supper;; i asked her if she ever bought Bose speakers;; she never heard of them.. soo,, does Bose still use that pre-amp??

everytime i played piano in a studio;; i had headphones on;; and they were never Bose.. to tell you the truth;; studio work is hell.. only the men in the control room hear the goodies..

oh,, sorry;; you're right;; in the studio;; studio speakers are ALWAYS good speakers;; i have NEVER seen a pair of Bose Speakers in a studio;; that would be like combining South Park with The Family Guys..

not really true;; if you stand NEXT to them;; you'll hear the unbalanced stage monitors;; i spent 42 years on stage;; it's gotta be the worst spot in the arena.. jk;; but,, the crowd noise is just toooooo un-bearable.. exactly where in the arena IS the best place to stand??

no,, i didn't "Yell";; just complained;; i only "Yell" at the 12 item line at Wal-Mart..

i bought two MD portable units in a Sony Refurbished store and bothe units didn't work right.. i took the first one back and they exchanged it there,, right away;; but,, the one they gave me didn't work right either.. then a while later,, i bought another player unit;; and that started skipping;; and they wouldn't exchange it.. now,, every time i go by that store,, i go in and rant my purchases to the sales persons;; loud enough for ppl to hear me;; so they can lose a few sales.. i must have ruined at least 10 big sales for them in the past couple of years.. i feel vindicated;; i (the Screwee) screwed the screwer.. from then on,, i always buy new from a reputable seller;; not Sony..

just think;; with over 800 MD Discs,, i can build an 8 foot "Stereo Listening Booth" with them;; well,, maybe only the front part;; or a plastic Ginger Bread House.. this thread will certainly make me go out an buy up a few more Hi-MD blanks.. and,, i was a realist too;; i bought 27 MD-Decks;; i will never run out of MD Bliss..!!

well,, my 18" CW's are FULL range;; and have a switch in back whick i don't bother with;; i think it is to capture that lost frequency range you are talking about.. in my studio;; i use 12" speaker cabinets AND a pair of those small shelf speakers (ALL AT THE SAME TIME).. my receiver has TWO separate speaker outputs,, and i use TWO sets of speakers at the same time.. one set is great with the bass;; and the other set just punches out the mids & highs.. i have them facing all different ways;; kinda like a sudo-surround catastrophe..;; but it sounds great.. as i said once before somewhere's;; the best way to listen to music is with a good set of headphones AND a set of 18's slamming your chest.. even 15's and 12's a good enough.. if you don't have 18's.. oh;; i forgot to tell yous that i teach piano lessons to the wife of a big-wheel Bose rep;; and he has a house full of Bose;; the newer stuff.. he just got the Bose 5.1 installed and it goes to EVERY room.. it's just that the Wife cannot get it to operate properly,, and he is never home at the time of the lesson.. i wish i could hear the NEW system and get a newer view of Bose.. sometimes there are some "Secret" bose stuff in da house;; and i am not allowed to look and hear (and touch);; and i don't want to.. bose is always looking for "Another Angle";; and i guess they do alright for themselves.. myself;; putting on three tv's in different rooms is more exciting;; even on the President's State of the Union address..!!

i think Bose designs their system to satisfy the "Old & the Rich";; and mybe my mother and grandmother;; even grandfather couldn't take Bose.. every bose system i hear just don't sound right;; especially my friends old one.. and yes;; i (rayzray) believes it take big massive speakers to "Push" air and bass;; like my two 18" full-range cerwin/vegas ??sp??;; gee why is my glass riding off the table?? i am semi-friends here with a sales person from Guitar Center and he/she is always trying to sell me their Hi-MD package;; (donno which one off the top of my head).. he/she says me (rayzray) and him (the sales person) are the only ppl that talk about MD's or Hi-MD's.. i am SURE they have some blanks;; cause he always tries to sell them to me *as i recall*;; but at a premium price.. but,, then,, that was a few months ago.. oh,, by the way;; my secret saleperson was working the sound board at the Fleet Center in Boston with a Big Name band and happened to connect an MD (yes MD to the mixing board's line out.. i got a copy of the "Secret" band;; (reminds me of the Secret Garden;; don't it).. moral of the story;; that sales-not-woman and i are extreme audio recording freaks;; and we both use MD'zz and i (rayzray) Hi-MD;; but i would NEVER subject my Hi-MD900's to recording todays crappy live music;; i'll stick with the classics or the birds and the bees in the back yard.. i am glad MD's are going out;; it will be a "Field Day" for me;; buying unwanted MD gear for the next few years;; kinda like fishing with a big net.. Thanks Sony;; way to go..

what about that Oink Hi-MD Deck that's out;; how are they gonna get their Hi-MD discs?? like someone somewheres will have to make them.. and will the Sony Professional division need them?? and what about Little Sally Sass in Watuchie;; won't she need a couple?? Love,, Rayzray

if you see the DVD-RAM surface;; it seems Very "scratch" resistance;; plus i treat ALL my "Bling Blings" like a new born baby;; even better;; i hold my bling blings a lot longer.. it's just that i read somewheres that these DVD-Rams were Great for storing data/music and gorgious women pics for long periods of time..

u are sooooo right;; as a player first;; (from a PC download,, that is).. it's not worth the "Hassle" of recording live anywheres;; all live vunues suck IMO;; probably the crowd mostly;; except at night to see if i "Really" snore..

lol;; that's a deal;; do you think i can get thru customs with my 820 MD discs and two Hi-MD900's? *as i listen to my "Rayzray vs. Snoopy & the Red Baron" remix;; the only one in da world; oh,, i remixed the whold Snoopy vs the Red Baron CD with my MXD-D40 and my "Magical mystery MD";; it's amazing how you can "Divide" an MD OVER 100 tracks!

over 800 Standard MD discs and about 20 Hi-MD discs; does this qualify me for a free coffee? you can say i really use all of them if you concider my goal in life..
