Well the Laptop doesnt give you auto track marking , only a Proper CD player does that . But as you said you want the NE20 , I guess I have to find one EH!

I was in Seiyu last night and the entire MD rack was 50% off , EH-50's , EH-930 (Bronze) , Panasonic docking style , the whole collection. They didnt have the EH-70 in there . but this doesn't bode well . also Best Denki , was 15 percent off , and they rarely touch the prices of Sony stuff . The have an EH-70 in there I have to look at Yodobashi and see what gives there.

well here an ES 80 minute single is 390 yen , a ten pack with NO pack discount is then 3900 yen but of course there is that PACK discount 65 dollars PLUS shipping is an outrageous price , well over what what they cost in SINGLE packages, then ,........you pay shipping ON TOP of that

the Peluso Mic , is only 344 new direct from the company http://www.pelusomicrophonelab.com/CEMC6.html I know your including an extra capsule , but general value of Used gear is Half of new Value , unless it is an exceptional item ( Antiques , Rareities, One off's , ) It is a Nice mic , and I wouldnt mind having that one . but no extra money right at this moment , in about a month , I will have some more play money . Here is the Media list http://www.tascam.com/i-3609-232-128-0-A9C35BDA.pdf and on it the Transend cards are only approved to 4 GB , Hagiwara , PQI , Silicon Power , Lexar , and others are tested to higher capacity . The Media list is pretty accurate , and one of the things I appreciated about the DR1 , They DID and Continue , the trying of all kinds of cards , actually looking for probs , ( Not just them but customer base as well) Gather reports of consistencies and post them . If you have 10 out of 10,000 saying " My machine is doing this " Tascam asks , What card are you using ? ...... 9 of them say A -Data , or Transcend , etc ....... The testing is already done in some cases . I have tried different cards myself , and can see a BIG difference in the way the DR1 responds , Startup is quicker or slower depending . Also MP3 quality , and speed of processing , is noticable . The Lexar and Panasonics work pretty well for me.

take the back end of a spoon , and gently push the MD a little forward ( back INTO the deck ) then hit the eject button again , and as soon as the MD starts to move pull the spoon out of the way

OH Believe me Kyle , THIS topic has been covered BIG time You have to search thru to find all the posts about powering the RH1 ,LOL Solar Panels , DIY packs ,USB packs , AA packs , it runs the Gamut I personally have about 9 different things to power my RH1 , I have a Lithium like the link you posted that is 4.4 amps yes folks 4400 ma's and one member here has an EIGHT amp USB pack , that is enough power for half a galactic turn I would think....... Welcome to the USB nightmare club . I will see if I can link some of those threads here

I Just got a TCD-D100 Sony DAT recorder , so I am going to play with it for a while , The mic pre in it is pretty nice , It will be good to A/B with the RH1 , ( The DR1 wont even compare ) But a Three way , comparison of my AT822 , with the DAT , at 44.1 khz , then the RH1 at PCM which is the same , and the DR1 with its own mics , then record real time from Line out from each to be fair to Peak , or Final Vinyl , ( The RH1, and DR1 can Upload , but the DAT doesn't so to be fair they should all come thru the sound card line level .) Sound is what matters , not convenience .

Hardoff .....AGAIN , NIB ( I mean everything sealed in Plastic, original twisty ties, no fingerprints ,Clean Box, NEW ) SONY TCD-D100 Portable DAT Along with the RM-D100K Remote kit , also NIB I wont say the price , I will say that I am Happy about the deal , The price I told another member in an email , was changed , They had decided not to even check the unit , because they had no DAT tapes ) at a different Hardoff , in the Junk bin for 500 yen , was a WORKING ( listening to it now ) MZ-1 , with no accessories , I am using a Sega power supply

Raj , that hurts .......... David Gilmour was an unspoken musical mentor to me , as was Wright . One of the reasons I build and repair Guitars , is that the love of music , and the appreciation for just how much emotion music can draw out of someone is because of the creativity , and expression of those two people . One of the main reasons I learned to play guitar , was how Gilmour could speak without saying a word , on his instrument . I have owned every PF album in Vinyl , All of them . This was music that reached a different plane of thought , and spoke to a great many people , some of whom wont admit it , but Dark Side or the Wall , is in their collection . #1 Album for 9 years ,...... not 9 weeks , 9 years , .......#1 Yeah ok , media or merchandising opportunity , but ,...... THIS , is something , that some people actually WANT to remember and keep Never has been a Guitar solo as sweet and well stated , or as eloquent as Gilmour's , and Wrigh was his best friend and Musical collaborator for the entire time they were together . My father died when I was 16 right in front of my eyes.........., I didnt shed a tear, not because he was a bad person , I just couldnt feel anything at that time . Fast forward a few years , I am at a six keg party , everything is perfect , Girls , Booze , People having a good time , A few other chemical imbibments ,........... I put " The Wall" on the turntable it gets to the part " Daddy , what else did you leave behind for me ?"
