hi, welcome to atraclife ummm as far as i know u cant transfer existing music from sony's mp3 player to another computer unless all songs have been deleted. sry for being the bearer of bad news but this is some stupid rule made for copyright stuff. unless u use it as a storage harddrive (i.e. drag and drop music files from windows explorer), otherwise there's no way that u can transfer music onto another computer. voidMP3FM (on the same wiki page) says "e.g. ability to transfer files back to your computer", is that the thing u are looking for? but i am not sure if it will support an A3000 =/ i have never heard of this SWEx program before, but after reading the page on wiki, i assume it works just like mp3 file manager, which means u can transfer music to the player without using sonicstage. even tho i dont think it allows u to transfer music back to computer but u can try it urself anyway, good luck

woa i found a black one on ebay and it looks ok to me and the starting price seems ok Ebay auction
-
im curious of where u have purchased this player. cuz japanese models have different frequencies than most parts of the world, therefore the FM on a japanese model would be useless anywhere outside Japan
-
O_o and $229 is actually not that bad but it is a refurbished one guess it is so hard to find a brand new HD5 now =/
-
umm obviously u will need sonicstage as a tool of transfering music to ur a3000 if it is not installed correctly, try download the latest 4.3 version from this site and make sure it is installed correctly
-
im afraid that's not the case with lithium batteries, that's the good thing about them cuz there's no memory problems
-
oh my! a product with 2.5 hours of battery life does not deserve a label from sony!! i feel bad for u, it's kinda late to mention this but u should have returned it when u first bought it. if the 1200 is still under warranty u better go to sony ASAP
-
it will probably act as a thumbdrive aft the battery dies, and that's what im planning to do with my E005 xD
-
the one from sony looks a lot better in both style and quality to me, ya it's expensive but IMO it's worth it a screen protector is not a big deal, u can easily find the ones used for cell phones for A800
-
HI, im afraid that u can only ask some1 to bring it over to the States, sony Canada does not ship anywhere outside of Canada
-
i know sound quality is a personal thing but i must say that a808 is better in terms of SQ compared to s706 to most people. The advantages of s706 are only noice cancelling and FM.
-
hmm congrats. well if you favour iPod more over Walkman, it's totally personal. but i must add that the 6th iPod generation is gonna come out in less than a week. If i were u i would choose to wait for a while before buying the 5.5 ipod video
-
...i see.. but come on it's more like a CD remote control only slightly larger in size
-
my first vote sure goes to the "perfume bottles": A600, E500 and E400 series. My first mp3 player was E405 and I bought it simply because of its fabulous outlook and battery life! second choice would be the S200 series, how come nobody has mentioned it so far??
-
ya i agree as well. one will actually find the bean better than this series. oh i think even the CE-P series made by Sony China look better than them.
-
ya that is a problem. i guess u'll have to ask someone to bring it over the boarder..
-
i suggest u to get it from Canada

NW-S705F Late Pictorial Review
AntiPod replied to Andrew Soebali's topic in Product Reviews/Pictorials
thx for sharing the pics. I like the blue A1000~*heart heart* and the NE20 looks great too -
i just want better software, and atrac is ok to me...sony still has a chance..='|
-
i would agree with that, plus i think the screens all have a half life so they can become dimmer after surpassing the half life. So if u dont try the max. brightness in time u might not have a chance to see it =P lol it sounds scary but it's a slow process tho
-
try convert the songs into atrac through sonicstage, if the problem still exists, i suggest u to format the player in its menu, or by sonicstage.
-
it is normal wearing from usage, dont worry about it, but do remember to clean the plug with soft cloth once in a while
-
ohh nice pics~~~ i like the AC adapter =)
-
is there an USB power option in the menu?? if u are too worried about battery, just switch it to 100mA instead of 500, i heard it is better for the battery in some ways but it will take wayyyy longer to charge the player
