i don think there'll be a problem with that since S20X are already water-resistant (not soaking resistant tho), so its body should be sealed well enough to keep the dust out p.s. cleaning the dust for E500s is really a big pain in the head...

i don think there'll be any firmware updates from sony for E00X series as there're E01X series that's gonna take its place. also i guess u cant expect to see many nice display screen with 005's 1 line display XD

hi there! so are u using e407? Unfortunately u cannot adjust the speed of FF on 407. The option only exists on the later models like A608

Hi barbariansss, NEVER format a walkman device through windows explorer, trust me. I have never experienced your issue before, if reseting the player does not work, you definitely need to think about exchanging another one. Even if your return policy has run out, there should be a 1-year warranty that comes with your player. Try to contact your local sonystore and they will help you out. Oh and if it's a software problem, there is a post in the software discussion board that tells you how to re-install sonicstage correctly, hope that will help

i just wish sony would make players with the outlook of A600/E500s with added colour screen, noise cancelling, and line-in recording, plus memory up to 4 GB or more xD

well i think sony is just being thrifty and tries to copy wut apple did- sell separate accessories for the s200 series, sony could have supplied all the models with both the cool looking clip and the armband yea then $ony will earn another $20 from u for the lanyard...sigh...

oh btw from the sony eu site, it says "Plays approximately 60 hours of music or 15 hours of video"!!! (of course it's gonna be shorter in real life) the size is 8.8 x 4.4 x 0.9 cm (thinest part is 0.83cm)that's about the size of a nano, a bit thick though but with the 2 inch screen and the awesome battery life, i cant wait to see when the real models come out in canada

Hi welcome! First of all, S205 is only up to 2Gb, not 4 U need to, unfortunately, use sonicstage for file transfer. MP3 file manager or VOID mp3 work in some cases, but it's not guaranteed that they'll work in ur case For ur finaly question, i don think any1 had tried to make a shorter cable

hmmm that is strange...i suggest u to reset the player, using the small hole on the players back then try to clean ur USB ports? It worked in my case Sometimes it really takes SonicStage a while to recognize the player...

well, since the new A800 series are coming out in March, i also suggest u to wait for a week or 2. If u dont like it, 150 bucks for A1000 is a pretty good deal.

Hi, i had this problem with my 507 before. Try to reset the device using the reset button on its back first and re-install sonicstage. If it doesnt work, then u'll have to format the player (it's in the advanced menu, DONT USE WINDOWS EXPLORER to format it, never)

O_o I have no plans yet cuz im happy with my 507, and my 005 is not used very often >< I am kinda interested to see the new device coming out...hope i wont be attracted too much..2 walkman are enough..so far

Hey guys i havent been on this forum for over a week, and when i came around, i dont see other replies in every topic. Instead, all there was a box labeled with "other posts in this topic" and it just contains the first few words of other replies. This kinda troubles me as i just want to see the whole thread without clicking for each reply. I've tried to set the number of posts shown in each page to 10 in my board control page, but it didnt work. Is there a way to get around this? If this is the latest feature of this board, im so not into it.
