  1. Personally my cell phone is just that... A Phone. Not a camera, or a music player, etc. Was surprisingly difficult to find a plain old phone actually. I can see the convenience factor, as it would be nice for an occasional listen if you're stuck without anything else.. But I'd have to say I prefer dedicated devices that do one thing, and do it well. Call me old-fashioned if you must... They are getting harder and harder to come by though.
  2. Pretty unit, hope it goes to a good home!
  3. Sent him a spare NH900 battery attachment for a couple of blank TDK WA discs. The discs are beautiful! Great communication from him too! Thanks!
  4. Yep, sure is... PM me if you want it and let me know what you've got for trade/where you are located... thx
  5. 4.3 has given a few people (including myself) headaches while being used with XP. IMO yr better off with 4.2 unless you are using Vista. 4.3 does not offer any additional functionality beyond Vista compatibility. So yeah, downgrading to 4.2 just might help.
  6. The only way you can edit recordings that have been transferred from PC, is if they are transferred using Simpleburner in NetMD format. In other words, you will need to create a CD or CD Image using the tracks you want to be able to edit on the unit. Then download Simpleburner and transfer the CD or Image in NetMD mode. The main catch here is that you have to use standard MDs, and the highest quality will be LP2.
  7. As long as you are using a version of SonicStage equal or greater than version 3.4 you will be fine. Versions of SonicStage prior to this would delete the content without warning if you tried to import again, IIRC.
  8. Yes, I can vouch for alrose312's credibility and reliability. He is a great asset to this community. The DH10 was in near-mint condition as well and came in original box with all accessories.
  9. The newer Hi-MD recorders allow transfers both ways, might be a good investment if you're a serious recorder!
  10. I don't recall ever seeing any decks with this particular "feature", I've only ever seen it in portables...
  11. Hi there... I've run into problems (as have others) importing using 4.3 on operating systems other than Vista. If you're not using Vista, try 4.2: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=17769
  12. I actually might... I have a couple laying around, I'll see if one fits.
  13. Can't help you with recovering the stuff, but see the link in my signature regarding stripping DRM to avoid this problem with future recordings.
  14. The older (OpenMG) software is fairly buggy. So it could be an issue with that... You may want to grab the newer SonicStage 4.2 program (for XP & older) from here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=17769 If yr using Vista you'll need 4.3, but there have been reports of problems running 4.3 on computers that aren't running Vista.
  15. Just to rule some things out, does it play any discs? Also, does the track time progress on the unit itself when a track is played (but not heard)?
  16. My wife found my old NH900 charging dock while cleaning up after the holidays. My NH900 bit the dust awhile ago, so I've no need for it now. I'd be willing to trade it for even just a couple blank discs (or really just about anything, make an offer). Thanks -a
  17. I'll assume (by the price) that you mean Hi-MD discs and not Hi-MD units.
  18. Well the RH1 I got here in the states is black. Not sure if the B designates color or not./
  19. See the uploading info in my signature for your options.
  20. The only USB transferred material that will upload to PC via the RH1/M200 are discs made using Simpleburner. Discs made using SonicStage/OpenMG will not upload via the RH1/M200.
  21. a-ha! pretty neat, thx for the link!
  22. There have been quite a few reports of users running into problems with 4.3 on XP (myself included). I would recommend installing 4.2, which can be found here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=17769 4.3 doesn't offer anything over 4.2 that I am aware of, except for Vista compatibility.
  23. You're the man! Glad to see you're still working on this project. I foresee a future where MarC is the savior for all of us once Sony has completely dropped support for this format. If you find this software useful (keep in mind MarC gave us the ability to convert Atrac to WAV before Sony did) please consider donating to help show MarC how grateful we all are for his continued support.
