There used to be a suction type magnetic pickup that you affixed to a phone headset that plugged into your tap recorder, Radio Shack may still have a variant that would work, or else you could get a splitter cable and put one end into the MD. Good luck, Bob

maybe someone gave it to him!! ya never know Bob

owned two DS's worked on them as well, loved the SM, no sensation of speed, was driving on in the wet one time, thought I was doing 30 to 40 MPH, ended up I was doing about 85 MPH, light touch on the mushroom, down to 40, no hassle, what a car Bob

what works, works, at least you have the choice of tunes. What modek Peugeot do you have, worked on them in the 70's and 80's, always had a soft spot for the french cars TTFN Bob

amazing how many people used an early version of OMG or SS with early Net-MD and think that that's all there is for the format. Of course we all know it's about sound and convenience, as well as the ability to do live recording on a reasonable budget. As well I dearsay none of us are sheep (black sheep maybe!!), and will defend our format with knowledge and verisimilitude. (got to throw a big word in once in a while) Like you TC I like the prerecorded, I also love to make my own, and it's easier to carry 40 or 50 MD's around in the car that 40 or 50 cassettes or cd's. And they look cool as well Got to get some of those glow in the dark ones Bob

Isn't that the one that was a rebadged NH-600? would be interesting to see if Beatjam recognizes other units Have fun Bob

You'll probably find that you won't be able to tell the difference for most recordings using HiSP VS PCM. To me PCM would pnly be used when I had the time to make sure everything was perfect, and then probably on a line in recording. Best advice try a couple of different recordings and see what suits you Have fun and enjoy Bob

nice looking combo, have fun Bob

Actually a box pf Montecristo 4"s and a bottle of rum for a friend. Food was fabulous, mythi is they are starving and people can't afford anything but gristle and rice, definitely nor true. You can get a meal from a couple of bucks to skies the limit. If you're adventurous ( which I was) you can use national currency instead of convertible pesos and eat in the real cuban cafe's for a price of 20 to 50 pesos,( about $1.00 to $2.50) Hopefully soon the US will change policy, but I don't see wholesale changes even if they do. The only downside to a mass opening is the prices will go way up Bob

Just got back from Cuba, got some CD's, New Los Van Van, and a girl named Luiba, as well as and onldie but goodie, Legend my Bob Marley, as well as two pairs of glasses for $80.00 and some major dental work and a lower denture for $60.00, that paid for my trip in itself. NH1 gave random read errors, so I didn't get as much recording as I wanted. Also, probably the wierdest thing was a copy of a cheap russian watch for $12.00, quartz movement instead of windup, who would of thought of copying russian watches, is nothing sacred!!! Bob

Got my MZ 1 from TC, beautiful machine, wish the new units had optical in and out, thanks my friend Bob

If the car radio has an aux input you can use that or else a cassette adapter or FM transmitter works sort of as well. Ebay has some good prices on Sony and other Car MD's, can get you a link for the connect package if you want to go that way. TTFN Bob

Hi There, The EU could stand for European Union, and could be a volume capped unit. All I can think of at this late hour. What would the price be in Euros, or dollars?? Take care, Bob

orion mdc201 remote desperately needed staffordshire
bobt replied to oldiguana's topic in Classifieds
Shot the gun a bit, went googling, and found the unit, looks like it only has a line out, I think you would have to use it with a pre-amp to adjust volume, I think the volume control on it is probably for the headphone jack. Could be wrong, but that's what it looks like. It does look like a neat unit, ;ooks like a neet company, the unit bears resemblance to a Goodman unit. Good luck, Bob -
