Thanks wayward, figured it out a while ago, long hold on most menus bring something up. Take care, Bob

Didn't mean to offend Alexx, just that I thought I remebered something from twenty or thirty years ago that said that they used Andy Williams voive for that segment because his sing voice closely matched Audrey's speaking voice. I could be wrong, has happened many times, ad I do agree it is a good song. All the best Bob

With my NH1 and simple burner it takes 3 to 4 minutes to load a cd, not much time in my books. Beats real time all to *** ttfn Bob

If I recall right it was Andy Williams who sang it, even in the movie, it was lip synched.

Sounds pretty good, now only if they could be persuaded to deal outside of the US of A. Should do good business though. Bob

Welcome, and enjoy your new toy, wise choice. Bob

If you want decent sound for your MD get some middle to good range computer speakers, some have fairly good sound, these gpx will not do music any justice. jmho Bob

Nice to see what comes with the units, looking 4ward to getting mine. Bob -
Hi all, Count me in, should have my new unit soon, any format is fine for me, my tastes are eclectic, but no rap, hip hop , and limited country. I have everything from Abba to Zappa, and obviously I have to go international, as I don't think there is anyone else in the Cayman Islands. ttfn Bob

Try a Sony store, Radio Shack (or whatever it's called now), Future Shop, Best Buy, or some xomputer superstores. Good luck, Bob

You should have no prob;ems with SS, but use Simple Burner to transfer cd's tp MD, quicker and soesn't clutter your hard drive. Hope you enjoy your new toy Bob

Victor/JVC Release 305Hr Battery Life MDLP Player-Only Unit
bobt replied to Christopher's topic in News
Hi Christopher, Got to love the translation "The silver, the crotch lining of pink and Brown 3 color the color ring, is the adult っ ぽ く て fresh???." Units look good, although I agree on wondering why Sony doesn't throw the Hi-MD licence out to the masses, could you imagine 300 hours on a NH1 or NH 900 clone/ Then there is the pink crotch issue ha ha Bob -
Fabulous, laughed my arse off great what it does to searches Bob
-
You could also put an ad in the classifieds at this forum and see what comes up, maybe someone here has some they wand to sell Bob
-
As well the first generation models can record in either format.

Like your link to sloganizer, lots of fun, Welcome to the machine Bob

There are a couple of links in the main page, and I got a couple from cduniverse a while back. Try minidisccanada as well. You can also try flea markets etc, never know what turns up. Good luck, Bob

The 707's have a problem on the write head with the wires breaking, unfortunately you may have got a dud. Have you tried downloading with SS to see if that works? Any chance of you getting your money back from the seller? Good luck, and welcome to the forums and to MD's I would recomment getting a HI=MD unit if possible just for the fact of the uploading feature. Bob

The other alternative I think is burn it to a cd and use simpleburner Good luck Bob
