So you actually ordered it that makes four of us then. BTW, This is the answer I got from them: About your worries: 1)I think if that was the case you should relay on the product warranty. 2)The DH10P has a lithium ion battery so the NH900 charger doesnt work with it. 3)The mailing companies have some kind of insurance of goods in transport. Sad to hear that, at least it isnt that bad as it is over here. The last minidisc brought by Sony officially was the NH700

No problem I guess the seller realized that the increment of orders (many from here I hope) so the price was rose. Although US$10 are two HiMD discs... sorry I couldnt help it . Actually, when I saw the price I wrote to the seller immediately: "is the DH10P brand new and sealed package?", I got a reply next morning "Yes, it is brand new Sony MZDH10P" (it could be rfb because the price). Anyway, I ordered it, I got a reply from Amazon and from Eektechology about the charge to my credit card (the US$185 werent a mistake). Then I got another reply with the USPS tracking number. So I can just tell you so far so good. Unignal if you are worry about the reliablity of Eektechnology, I may be your 'guinea pig' and wait for my comments, let's hope it isnt too late

Tiesto replied to everydae's topic in Classifieds
I hate when the good offers come at the same time (eh1 and dh10p) and to be forced to choose one... I hope not to regret my final decision -
it looks like Sony is dropping prices

Gumstick and AA battery in NH900. Can I use both?
Tiesto replied to poorlyconditioned's topic in Minidisc
AFAIK, the external battery discharges first. I tried both today and when I unplugged the external the player turned off. -
It looks like a CD player to me, take a look EDIT: oopss!... Sorry, it isnt the girl on the roller skates, it is the walking girl

RH1 can display artists and tracks on the main unit!
Tiesto replied to doomlordis's topic in Minidisc
The pictures and catalog show the Sony's war-horse stick LCD remote as the official remote. -
That would be a good idea , then there would be sudforums for car audio, home audio and cell phones among others.

AFAIK, the EH1 can be purchased from japan-direct but it's pricey, audiocubes doesnt have it anymore. However, EH1 and the E10 are most beautiful players, to be honest, I want one of those but I cant afford it. Another good option could be the Sony MZ-DH10p. Regarding to the remote, you must know that the E10 has special port for the remote (no headphone jack) so the mc40elk can not be plugged to the E10. The LIP-4WM can be found at audiocubes as well as the HiMD blanks. p.s. Always look for a full metal body player, I have the NH900 (it has plastic in the back) and it is getting colorless on the corners, certainly not a nice feature.
