its the same thing, except the Japanese version comes with a kanji remote (RM-MC35ELK) and has the option to choose between menu languages.
-
"really easy" depends on who you talk to. drivers can sometimes get complicated.
-
its definetly the backlight option. go to menu, options, backlight and set it at either auto or on. i suggest auto.
-
hmmm, i seem to never have this problem, or maybe it could be that i haven't noticed it yet? i suggest that you get a case for the RH1, instead of using the pouch or worse......no pouch.
-
compared to li-ion batteries the 14wm is very cheap. i would just go invest in a new one.
-
The rechargeable battery is meant to be taken out, you can swap out an rh1 battery faster than you can on your tv remote. Thats how easy it is, no mechanics required. To prove how easy it is, i can take it out and put it back in in about 1.5 seconds.
-
so would you suggest i keep them or let them go?
-
XD must be me, because i have nothing that uses rechareable AA's except for remote controls. For thoses i just use normal alkalines they last forever.
-
Hmm, the replies contradict each other. For now i'll charge it when it flashes.
-
Taking the disc out does not do anything, like what raintheory said go to the menu and go options and you will see quickmode somewhere and just turn quickmode off. Also if you leave your battery untouched for extended periods of time it will drain no matter what.
-
You do know that it is easily removeable right? You can buy another LIP-4WM and cycle between them. Once the juice is drained you just swap it out for your spare, easily done in seconds, only concern is the price of the rechargeable battery.

My ex81's which costed me 95 beans sounds like crud. Even the ones that came with my RH1 are better.
-
This scam is everywhere, it is also in Canada, but more severe, it costs you $10 000 per call.
-
Sorry that i don't have screenshots, but i could swear i saw an md used in an Energizer commercial, the md was strapped to some headphones which apparently was wadlling away from the owner. I'll try to find a screenshot soon.

that is a pretty wicked board you got there Pastagaman, must be painful for the person in front of you. I just bought a pair of mdr-ex81sl's and truthfully told the pair that came with my RH1 sounds better, pretty sad. Thinking of returning it, spent 95 beans on them.
-
Lol, i have yet to try using the jog lever on my RH1. Maybe that will work!
-
You know those mini-pouches that come with some Sony eabuds? Well i figured that i could put them to better use. I tried fitting my minidiscs into it and it worked perfectly! I'll have pictures within the next hour. Anyways im really bored and just wanted to share a finding. ps, sorry about the quality i had to use my only camera....my webcam. Anyways enjoy!

The shipping wouldn't be that steep. Just phone them about it, and ship it over if its ok. This would be the first time i ever heard anyone with this problem, maybe it was a voltage spike....
-
Isn't pcm wav already? Correct me if im wrong.

These really are pathetic.... They sound worse then the earbuds that came with my RH1. I would continue to use the stock ones if they didn't chafe my ear, they are oversized. So i bought some canal phones. One question should i return these or should i keep them and hope burn in will make them sound better? To put it bluntly they lack power, there is no oomphh behind these.... I am greatly dissapointed...
