    DH100!

I don't like that part anyway.
  2. Fun when a bunch of you try it. I'm currently annoying the one person in our office who can hear the lowest one

    DH100!

Why such a small screen? The titles are cropped...
  4. I noticed I could hear more on my laptop speakers, than through my headphones on my work PC. The latter has a dire onboard sound card.
  5. http://www.freemosquitoringtones.org/ For all those with golden hears....
  6. I wouldn't say WMA has taken off. Its only used because it comes with Windows.

    bad disks?

My guess would be the recorder.
  8. I never used SonicStage backup it takes to long. I just back my SonicStage as a normal drive see here. http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showt...8&hl=Backup Mind you I don't store my music in SonicStage. I only use it to get music/recordings on and off my HiMD. I keep my music as MP3's and use Media Monkey.
  9. I don't get your question. A compilation album is a album. You could organise them by Artist or by playlist.
  10. Nice mini review. Cheers. Does your friend know if the RH1 is the last MD.
  11. I was talking about Connect. What are you talking about?
  12. Dunno why anyone cares. tbh.
  13. I'm waiting for people to start off loading their old HiMD's so i can pick up few as spares. I only use them for recording but they are very handy for that.
  14. Be aware that a lot of USB ports on computers and hubs do not to output enough power. It seems from reading the thread that it usually when charing via USB cable to a hub/PC rather than mains that the problem occurs?
  15. They ship international to some locations according to their website.
  16. I'm using Vista with 4.3 and so far I haven't had any problems. Not used it that much yet though.
  17. I don't agree with you on this. I've had PDA's which have cradles and AC ports which also charge from USB. Same with Mp3 players, mobile phones etc. The AC and cradle is for convenience not because it can't pull power from the USB port. Main devices that need more power, come with USB Y cables so you can pull power from more than one USB port. http://www.bixnet.com/5vps2powercord.html http://www.pexagontech.com/products/cables...it-drive-61.php I've use these with USB 2.5" Hard Drives for many years with no problems. Even with up to four drives connected to a machine. I usually have 2 connected up to my laptop for example. The only propblem, I've ever experienced where theres not enough power on a single cable is that the device wouldn't charge or power up. Its not unsual in my experience for USB ports to be below the USB spec for power. Even in a machine with 5 or 6 USB ports you might find only two of them meet the spec.
  18. You can buy a backlit remote if you use it in the dark. In my experience recording is very heavy on battery life on a HIMD. I could be wrong but I don't think the MZ-NH700 remembers custom recording setting. I think HiSP is decent. Couldn't advise if its good enough for your needs though. Convert the files to WAV on the PC. Then copy them across the Mac.
  19. If theres was a digtial/optical out/in might bypass a ADC/DAC on the unit it self. AFAIK Theres always a DAC or ADC somewhere before it gets to your ears. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital-to-analog_converter http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analog-to-digital_converter
  20. Thks. Only worked as download in IE. FF only got a php file for some reason.

  22. Are you looking for standard ones or HiMD? Suprised you can't find any in Spain.
