you could get one of those lense cleaners but many say those can actually do the thing more harm than good, ive heard of cutip and nail polish ammonia/alcohol trick, Ive done that before, it worked pretty much. *edit* doh, sorry miread the title. Don't clean it till it starts skipping, thats my motto, maybe a bad one but lol Once every 4-6 months should be fine I wouldve thought if your tech is prone to dust from the enviroment its in.

cant see why it isnt there, you should be able tojust go to the s.s options, go down to 'creating a cd' and choose the drives you want to use in s,s, if that doesnt work then i dunno...

I dont know how many aac songs u've got, but, yes, you would have to re-rip all your aac songs.

I cant really compare as I dont think my headphones are detailed enough, I only have one phono to phono cable, the one that came with my jb980, well you can imagine the quality of that cable. It sounds exactly the same as watching the dvd. lol,oh well. I doubt i would get even 15 pounds for it if i tried to sell it (its worth 25). i dont think a converter would really be worth it, they arent exactly cheap, unless of course you had a dab and you could connect it using the adapter and split the tracks, that would be cool.

you dont get track marks on coaxial, so i'm not sure. The quality is meant to be as good as optical signal.

I bought a one metre belkin coaxial cable at £25 and have only used it once to record a dvd to md, as my dvd player doesnt have a digital out, only coaxial. Do those of you with md decks ever use the coaxial capability? What cables do you have, what other uses for coaxial are there, maybe im just not aware of them?

for some reason, on the IPB default skin, the one im using now, the old heading at the top, that you could click on to get to the main page of mdcf has a little thing saying 'IPB' instead of minidisc community forums.

i'd assume so, most people either used that or the image thing with nero.
