Sony MDR-AS20J Is one of Sony's 2008 "active sports" series-which also has several EX based models in it. AS20J is designed as a ear-hugger/loop style-bit like MDR-J11 but with a ear-shaped hangar and splashproof Also there's a clip to attach to the cord. Sound-wise-nice all-rounder for a sports headphone, couldn't notice any weaknesses. Driver is 13.5mm. Paid AUD$39 for the AS20J, will go well with my NW-S203F. MDR-ED12LP These are a top of line, budget "MDR-E" series model for 2008-and comes in a plastic tube, which can be used to store them later. Driver is 16mm. Styled like the MDR-EX85. Bass boost-part where the earbud is placed in the ear has a plastic cover, with a small bass vent on them-it could be snipped off and modded, if you wish. SQ-fantastic across all-ranges, any musc would sound nice with them, a slight but good step up from the E10LP. Bought them for AUD$34.95-worth the purchase

Has anyone managed to transfer an iTunes video to the 808?
aafuss replied to Old skool D's question in Audio
I transferred pvideos odcast from iTunes to my A815 easily. -
Shame Sony Aus sells the EX lookalike ED12LP and not the superior ED21.

NW-S700 series are now down to $99 at some Myer stores in Australia.
-
Get the S200,as it is water resistant and will be less susceptible to damage. I purchased a S203F today at Myer (a popular store here in Australia) for $50.

My settings for the EX082 or other Sony earbud type headphones: CB: +3 EQ: +3 +3 +3 +3 +3 VPT: arena CS: ON DSEE: ON
-
Yes-you can drag and drop from iTunes onto a Finder window-if you have iTunes coverart with your song, it may be shown on the Walkman (it does on my A815).
-
No-Sony doesn't offfer a add-on for connecting cameras for uploading photos to a Walkman.
-
Bought my A815 in Australia-on the box a label says "CE7" and volume goes upto 30 too.
-
In the test mode for A8xx series, pressing the volume buttons in the audio test sections, there's a line out setting (fixed not changeable). But Sony wants you to buy the BCR-NWU3 cradle to have a line-out jack.
-
I only have DN on if i use my Walkman plugged into my Phlips portable stereo's USB jack, all other times it's off.
-
EX85/EX082 are quite good for Walkman use, nice sound and quite comfortable (despite having a unusual for in-ear phones).
-
I use iTunes on a Mac (which Sony doesn't support officially, but works fine)-just have to drag the desired tracks out of the library list and onto the A815-retains album art.
-
i copied several songs out of iTunes on a Mac onto my A815-the album art on these were retained and displayed fine.

NWD-B100 series appear to have no service mode-so the volume limit cannot be removed on these players.
-
There doesn't seem to be a way to disable the volume limit on the B100 as no service mode is present-compared to the E020 series which has one. Australia gets the 'E' area model without a volume limit. I bought a fantastic noise cancelling headphones at Retravision-the SBC HN050 street dtyle for jiust $55-was $150. Sony wants at least $200 for their basic NC headphones here. The NC works quite well-enables me to listen to music on my B103F in peace and quiet.

After reading the profile for the MZ-R700 on this site, I decided to get one (cost me $30). So I began my interest with MiniDiscs 2 months ago-though I have known about the format for several years.

The JE480 still seems to be available in my country: http://www.sony.com.au/homecinema/catalog/...ategoryId=22056

Sony Australia only lists the RH1 as a current product-and the B10 is "no longer for sale" in my country at least.

Bought myself a Philips AZ1816 MP3 CD Soundmachine. Has USB port for playing music from MP3 players-such as my NWD-B103F Walkman or iPod. Also it's got a aux jack so I can play my MiniDisc recorder through it.
