NF610 and NF810 can also get AM/FM/TV/Weather when used with the radio remotes.
-
There was discussion about this over at T-Board. There is currently a 32-day waiting period (look at its "availability") for these particular Sony 5-pack 80min MDs at Musician's Friend. So, if you can wait that long, then MF is the better deal (as long as you buy at least 4 5-packs) compared to Wal-Mart's clearance.
-
At the Wal-Mart over here, they removed the Sony 5-pack 80min MDs from the blank media section and moved them to a clearance shelf. So, just in case you can't find them in the areas where the DVDs, CDs, and cassettes are, try checking the places where you see the pink clearance stickered stuff.
-
Have you used any not-fully-cleaned MDs with it? I can't remember if it was you or someone else who said that grape juice/soda was spilled on some discs.
-
Just looking at the remote jacks alone, it seems like the 37lt and 39lt wouldn't work with the RH10 (left) or NH900 (right): Remote jack for the NH700 (or NHF800?):
-
There is a T-Board member who said that the NH700 (Australian and European versions have been confirmed so far) will gain radio function if used with either the 37lt or 39lt remotes; also over on T-Board, sector001 confirms that the 37lt works with his NHF800. Looks like you can mix and match units/radio remotes a little.
-
Your chances are good for a replacement, if you can't get it worked out or fixed. eBay has several 37lt's selling new for reasonable prices (US$24-30) as opposed to e-tailers like Audiocubes (US$230, yes two HUNDRED thirty). Good luck!

That's really all you needed to say. Agreed. It's a misunderstanding. And no, I did not read that thread which was related to the topic of your last paragraph.
-
Or maybe getting rid of the "old" stuff?

Very nice, Ishyoshi. One of my favorites because there's a design on the shutter (I think - lol I only have 1 and it's the pink version of your purple one, but I haven't opened it).
-
Very simple design, but I like the 2004's - a nice, clean look. The food names are cool, too.

I use my JE500 daily. Not the best deck out there, but I like it just fine.

I have both of these options checkmarked: (1) Hide my email address from other members Enabling this option will deny other members sending you an email via the board. (2) Send me any updates sent by the board administrator Enabling this option will add your email address to the administrators mail list and you will receive any updates sent. So, was it option #1 (and not the administrator mail list) that prevented me from receiving that e-mail? Nothing in my spam folder either.

Actually, theblueraja has posted pics taken with his DH10P on T-Board and they are surprisingly good. I'm like you and prefer a dedicated digital camera over a cell phone or MD unit with a camera, but for people who like to carry around as little as possible, the DH10P is a decent fit. And, some people do get MD units for collecting purposes (which I think is its main attraction) or back-ups. Just by looking at everyone's locations, you can see that not everyone is American so I don't know why you felt the need to point out disk vs disc. Besides, ever notice that it's MiniDisC on boxes and wrappers? Even if someone chose to call them MiniDisques, I'm pretty sure we'd know what they're talking about. If the slight spelling differences bother you, then good luck on this forum. There has been worse spelling in some posts, but even then, they're still able to get their point across. And if you really want to get technical, it's iPod not Ipod.
-
I was kind of disappointed with them when I got them, but your pics make those discs look even better than in person.
-
Same here.

If you re-read the previous posts in this thread or click on that equipment browser link, people have mentioned what batteries each unit takes and what battery options you have with each. Also, if you do a search on each unit, you'll find more first-hand user comments and details (especially threads with "review" in the their titles). There is an entire section on this forum that is dedicated to unit reviews and pictorials. Like A440 said, whether the HD amp adds more to or ruins the listening experience is debatable. Some people like it, and some don't. Ultimately, it's going to depend on your ears, ear/headphones, music quality, etc. Good luck!

I think the punchline is that the rancher knew the pills had a mint flavor because he took the bull medicine after finding how virile it made the bull (probably in the hopes it would have the same effect him).

One e-tailer to check out is Audiocubes. For Hi-MD player-only units, they have the Sony EH50 (US$189), EH70, and EH930. For non-Hi-MD players, they have a bigger selection of units whose prices are a little lower compared to the EH50. Good luck!
-
Just ask Stuge how long he had to wait for his new DH10P. Edit: taper420, I think that's a good deal for that particular model even though it is a (refurbished?) player-only unit. The only other place I've seen it on sale is Japan Direct and it's selling new for US$295, not including shipping.
-
Haha, ok, Singapore, too. The 110-240V would still work. Enjoy your DH10P!

The ones with the "HD digital amp" (RH1 and DH10P) are supposed to sound better than those with the "digital amp" (RH10), but there are many who say the RH10's sound quality is just as good. Here is a link to the MDCF equipment browser that will tell you more details about those 3 units. equipment browser The basics are: RH1 and RH10 are recorders DH10P is a downloader-only The RH1 is the newest and according to the equipment browser, the RH10 and DH10P were introduced April 2005. Good luck!

Just follow Daniel's link and right below all those advertisements you'll see "Download Sharp IM-DR80/DR580 Driver (0.88MB)." Once the driver is installed, go to the downloads section again to get the latest version of SonicStage (3.4). Edit: Here's a link for SonicStage 3.4. Good luck!

Since Unignal originally wanted to know if the power supply can be used on 240V, he/she may be from Australia. If so, then the 110-240V would be just fine, but a plug adaptor might be needed (I'm not sure how different American plug prongs/outlets are compared Aussie ones).

Yep, SonicStage works with Sharp units. You install the Sharp DR80 driver first, then install SonicStage.
