The news said they will know the true impact that the nationwide demonstration had probably by tonight. All those people not going to work and kids not going to school that day.
-
Probably to be followed soon by a wave of new RH1 owners.

Belated hello to my EH1. And from the EH1 to Camille's Shuffle: How YOU doin'?
-
Haha, I tried grey skins at school/work for both MDCF and T-Board, too. But, what really gives it away for me are some people's avatars and signatures.
-
Silver EH1.

I thought the Japanese version of that SS version for the RH1 is already out, but its English version is the one that's not released yet?

Shion: I finished what I had to say to you about your NH900 and selling practices in ChrisG's MORE RECENT thread. So for me, ever since that newer ChrisG thread, this issue was over and done with. But, you just had to dig up this old thread, eh? By the way, I HAVE read more carefully and you've said enough to make me feel that my stated judgement is fair and warranted. Enjoy your Sharp and move on like the rest of us have already.

2 @ Hi-MD units for sale (UK) - Mint and Barely Used
jaylen replied to peter312's topic in Classifieds
aaaaaaa is just spam. Good luck with your auctions. -
New? You keep forgetting to mention that it's a malfunctioning and used NH900. But eh, if that line of reasoning helps you get through life then so be it. But, please stop trying to prove that what you did is justified and morally acceptable. This thread has been hijacked enough, wouldn't you say?
-
lol Everyone? Only a small handful have replied to this and the replies aren't very involving, but more commentary-ish about the topic/initiator of this thread. I'm online trying to find English service MD manuals, etc so I can re-learn how to use the 40ELK for my most recent unit purchase. If you start a thread on where I can get it, then I'll post more. Saturday life doesn't start until after dinner hours for me. Edit: richyhu has graciously helped me out with the service manual and remote situation. Have a good Saturday, Ray, and keep those grandkids (lol and yourself) out of trouble.

Sorry, no offense, but I can't take a thread like this seriously when it's coming from someone who posts "Do you know what corn means?"
-
You should tell us your eBay ID so that we know who to avoid and who to tell people to avoid.
-
lol Ray. None taken personally. I just wondered why the semi-colon is your favorite. After reading the quote above, I get you.

Ripping (nonHi) MD to Computer

Two wrongs don't make a right. Samurai are supposed to live and die by honor. -
A lot of people have been saying that the RH10's display is difficult to see in broad daylight. This might make you sway more towards the RH910. Good luck.

So you replaced a recorder (NH900) with a player-only unit (DS55)? You'd better have a downloader, deck, or another recorder or else your new DS55 is relatively useless. The DS55 is also pretty remote-dependent since there is no LCD on the body. With the NH900, you could've gotten the 40ELK, a 3-line remote. Now you're stuck with Sharp, which only makes 1-line remotes. Wonderful interface indeed. Sure, the DS55 has great sound, but you've lost recording function, downloading function, and the potential of upgrading your remote to 3 lines. Yes, you've made an awesome choice.

No offense, and I'm just curious. Why do you often use double punctuation and all those semi-colons?

Ripping (nonHi) MD to Computer

Yeah, no kidding. It's almost as bad as people who post about selling a malfunctioning MD unit as "new" to people on eBay. Hopefully, when he/she returns the RH1, they'll re-sell it as open-box. Or better yet, it will come in a blister pack or some other packaging with tamper alert. It will be obvious that he/she has used it and may have to deal with in-store credit instead of cash back or card credit. lol Makes you wonder if he/she returned that Hi-MD unit after seeing that the transfer didn't work. -
That price of £0.79 is from another seller. Amazon.co.uk is selling those discs for £10.49.
-
Add shipping charges to it and see.
-
Actually, it's not random. He just got that 2nd black NH900 recently. And how is having more than one MD unit a problem? Edit: lol Unless you're referring to Raja's craziness as the problem.
-
Now, now. No need to have that attitude with people who are trying to help you out. I've changed my mind. Sell your RH10. It's slowly getting obvious that the only thing that will give you what you want is to get an entirely different unit or switch formats altogether.
-
I wouldn't give up on the RH10 just yet. Go with investing in some better earphones. Check out the thread about the MDR-EX90SL in the 'phones section of this forum. There are some first-hand reviews that comment on bass.

I'm afraid your 12ELK is too old and has no "group/folder" button. It only has buttons for display, play modes, repeat, sound mode, and pause. Remotes that came with NetMD units will work with Hi-MD units though. I just tried my old 33EL remote with my NH1 and the group/folder button works. If you can't afford the 40ELK, then try for a 33EL.
