  1. If someone else can confirm it works as planned, I'll pin it here in tips 'n tricks.
  2. As Ishii says, we've all been really busy of late, but the Wiki project is still going ahead. We just need to work on some template pages etc.. before we open it up to get cracking on the detail.

  7. We do actually have this thread Stuge - http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=4139 (but thanks for trying to get some discussion going ) I guess that means this one is closed - lol.
  8. I'm pretty sure all SS versions from 2.x onwards will use .msi files for the OpenMG secure module. I think you need to sort out your windows installer problem (did you try downloading the Windows Installer 3.1 again from MS?) before you go any further.
  9. To be honest - I'm not sure if there is officially. Why do you need to run SS in a server environment anyway? If you really must, you could setup a WinXP machine inside Virtual Server or something similar although it will unlikely be as fast transfer-wise as a native client OS install.
  10. If an album already has cover art assigned to it in the SS library, when you transfer the album the art should come across automatically. You can either assign jpeg's manually in SS by attaching them in the properties screen of the album - or if CDDB finds the cover and it pops up in the bottom right of the screen, drag it into the little square on the playback section of the toolbar and it will be added as the cd is imported. You can also copy cover art between albums in the library using a similar drag n drop method. * Moved to Software Discussion
  11. Once you have added an attachment, you need to make sure you click on the "Add into post" button.
  12. The DH10P does sound very good indeed with Atrac. I couldn't tell any difference with the 2 units playing back 256 / 352k tracks. The problem is the DH10P suffers from the slightly deteriorated MP3 playback like other 2nd gen Hi-MD (but is the only 2nd gen MP3 enabled Hi-MD player with an HD amp). MP3 will sound markedly better on the RH1.
  13. C'mon, I think she already stated she wants to record audio, why do we need to question why?
  14. Thank you for that great post - I really enjoyed reading it.
