    This new skin.

Good point. Maybe I just need to clean my laptop's display.
  2. Yes I will confirm again. I have both the EH1 and the DH10P. Both sound fantastic. I can't tell the difference between the two.
  3. Which do you mean? The DH10P in my experience is equal to the EH1. Both are outstanding.

    This new skin.

Could be, but I just find it very dull to read..

    This new skin.

For me grey just doesn't do anything...

    This new skin.

Good idea Stuge: I like: cobalt_x plasma_x and to a lesser extent scarlet_x A black skin would also be fine somewhere much like we had with the Halloween skin.
  7. Well maybe Marck can answer that better than me, but it is mainly a site aimed at the dutch users. Stuff that may be of big interest internationally has been translated into english like the RH-1 and DH10P reviews.
  8. Or in case you can't find the news (doh!) here's a direct link: http://www.mdcenter.nl/artikelen/mzrh1/index_en.php
  9. Well all I can say is that my DH10P has a 6V AC adaptor. The service manual also lists the power requirements as being 6V for all regions.
  10. I assumed this seller was selling the US version - although you may want to check with the seller. All regions have a 6V adaptor. This is because of the Li-ion battery. All the LIP-4WM powered Hi-MD units (except the RH1 which has a 5V USB charger) have a 6V AC adaptor. The equivalent universal adaptor is AC-E60A.
  11. If it is the us model it ships with the AC-ES608K3 which I believe for the US version only has 120v input. The JP units had 100-240v input. It is a 6V power supply unlike the 3V for the NH900. You could get one of the Sony 6v universal chargers or if you have another unit that uses the Lip-4WM then use it's charger.
  12. I vote for the the Red. Ooops they forgot to make that one.. In that case black... Or maybe silver so I can take the black remote from the RH1 and swap it for the silver remote that came with my black DH10P.
  13. I'll take the one on the left... No you're right hint taken - let's not drag this off-topic and into handbag territory.
  14. That's probably asking for trouble I know, but there is some truth to that based on my experiences.
  15. So which Sony products in particular are you unhappy with?
  16. Although this is purely subjective as ever in my experience, the RH1 should sound as least as good as the NH1 if not slightly better. Both have the HD Amp but the RH1's is supposed to be tweaked slightly. In any case both of these should sound better than the R900 and R91 and the N10 and probably the Ipod. To get the most out of any of these units though you may want to try them with some higher end headphones, for my money i've yet to see a pair of Sennheiser phones that cut it.
  17. Chris, I can't work out if this is a lame attempt at humor, or whether like some of your other threads you just like to post some "controversial" comment as you get a kick out of stirring things up and reading people's reactions.
  18. I'm sorry but the whole point of feedback is to enable people to truthfully evaluate transactions and provide a resource for other potential traders. Despite being generally careful as with any transaction, I shouldn't have to worry too much about a seller who has 100% feedback trying to con me. If used correctly eBay is a great resource and people like you just drag it's overall reputation down. Cheating because you have been cheated youself is both selfish and misleading I am sorry to say.
  19. If you open a Hi-MD formatted disc in explorer you will see that there are a lot less physical files on the disc and that these don't necessarily correspond directly to the .oma files in the SS library. SS does not re-encode the audio but wraps it in a format readable by the hardware hence this is why track's can not be drag n' dropped. Can't you just import the file into SS and transfer it to the disc.
  20. As normal MD's in NetMD mode can't be used to hold data, the answer is no. If it was on an old MD formatted as Hi-MD, then yes, but it won't be able to be played back unless it is transferred through SS / Simple Burner. The new Hi-MD 1 GB discs as far as I can tell are just as good as the predecessors, it just depends if you prefer the colour or if you like the older long cases more.
  21. As far as I am aware the EH1 can only display Japanese and English menus as it was a Japan only model. It was never meant for sale in China. The only Hi-MD unit that can display Chinese on the unit is the DH10P. If on the other hand you just want the tracks titles in Chinese this is purely software dependent: See here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=11256
  22. Nice review of one of the budget units - I enjoyed reading that. - Thanks!
  23. You're still missing 2 x Black DH10P's
  24. But to get the best possibly quality out of the RH1's HD Amp I would suggest re-ripping the CD's to Atrac. AAC transcoded to MP3 is going to be not optimal.
  25. Yes it will be coming in the summer. See our review at MDCenter.nl for more details. regards, http://www.mdcenter.nl/redirect.php?file=h...h1/index_en.php
