  1. I have had my NH900 for about 10 months and have experienced both of these problems. The stop button issue appears only occasionally and if you press stop a second time it does actually stop. The Navi button thing is slightly more annoying. I can't really be bothered getting this repaired, and to be honest I use the remotes 80% of the time.
  2. All you need to do is right-click on an individual track, choose properties and fill in something in the Album field. All tracks with the same name in this field will be grouped together in "My Library". Also make sure your view is set to "Albums" or "Albums / Playlists" from the drop-down on the left hand side of the screen in My Library view.
  3. Plays fine on the DH10P, shows up as 32K MP3.
  4. I can try it on my DH10P if you want - the manual for the RH910 has the same specs. for MP3 playback as the DH10P.
  5. The only thing is that the RH910 looks a bit strange with all that white plastic round the edge and the white jog wheel in the middle of a black face.
  6. Me too - always curious to see what other people enjoy.
  7. Nah, think you just changed the size of your photo
  8. Hey Breepee - I just refreshed this topic and your head got bigger
  9. What languages did we have before anyway, I've forgotten now.
  10. They have some RH910's in the local Media Markt here in Den Haag, but frankly the prices are a rip-off - something like 249 EUR or higher if I remember correctly.
  11. As Chris says if you can live with LP2 backwards compatibility-wise and don't need to record to old skool SP via optical-in, real-time then I'd send back the beat-up loaner and go for the RH10. The only thing you'll miss is the HD digital amp from the NH900 but to be honest what you'd gain probably outweighs this. Maybe worth asking them if they have any NH1's instead of the RH10.
  12. If you click on the the "import a cd" button to bring up the import window on the left hand side, you will see in the center underneath the red arrow buttons there is a "settings" button. In here you can select WAV as the ripping format. If this doesn't work as lamewing says you can always use Simple Burner.
  13. You can change it using the drop-down list at the bottom of the page to IPB 2.1 Default.
  14. Good to see you finally got your unit. To be honest I've pretty much written off the order I placed there altogether. I ordered a black unit end September They sent me a silver one (without asking) which as well as being the wrong colour was also scuffed. They said they would exchange it if I sent it back. I asked them for the return address and their contact in Japan provided me with an address in Osaka. I sent it back next day international priority Track n' Trace. 3 days later their contact in the US asks me if I can send it back to an address in Massachusetts. I told him I had already sent it back to Japan (which he knew as I had already copied him on the mail I sent their Japan contact with the tracking number). 10 days later and they say they have never received the silver unit I sent back. The Dutch post office online system for Track and Trace is not working so they said they would investigate to see what the last known status of the Silver EH1 I sent back was. Frankly I've lost all motivation to go any further with this.... For the record, my only other experience with Audiocubes was that I ordered some MD blanks. They sent me a pair of headphones instead. As I couldn't be bothered to send them back I said I would pay for the headphones, they said fine and that they would send the blanks minus the shipping charge. I then am told the blanks are not in stock and eventually got them after another couple of weeks. I have been buying and selling stuff online since about '95 and have only ever had three or four bad experiences. Unfortunately 2 of these have been with AC.
  15. Are these tracks that you recorded onto the MD via line in or mic in or are they music tracks that were transferred to the unit via SS? If it is the latter then you can't transfer them back to your machine.
  16. Listening to Max Roach (and others..) | Jazz In 3/4 Time in Atrac3+ 256K 1. Blues Waltz 2. Valse Hot 3. I'll Take Romance 4. Little Folks 5. Lover 6. Most Beautiful Girl In The World
  17. Although I've noticed that SB can be inaccurate towards the end of a disc. A couple of times when according to it's calculations I should have been able to fit on the last track I have had to put it on in a lower bitrate, so I would subtract about 4 minutes or so from the figure displayed by Simple Burner.
  18. What is the bitrate of the tracks you are listening to? MP3 or Atrac3 +?
  19. I've have ordered from them twice and both times they have sent the wrong product. Plus other problems I won't bore you with here. You should ask "garcou" I believe he ordered an Onkyo Hi-MD deck from them.
  20. The manual for the RH10 states that it only supports MPEG1 Audio Layer 32-320 Fixed / VBR. You will have to convert other direct to Atrac or WAV then Atrac.
  21. How do you know they won't be released elsewhere - all of the 1st gen & 2nd gen models were released in Japan before being released elsewhere. On top of which some 1st and 2nd gen models were never released outside Japan either. (Is the EH-930 therefore a 1.5 generation?)
  22. Wouldn't these 2 latest players be considered 3rd Gen anyway?
  23. Erm I guess you're being ironic (or forgetful) as Ishii posted a pictorial that you commented on already http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=10182
  24. To fit 45 cd's on to 1 Hi-MD I think you have to use 48Kbps which is even worse than Hi-LP (64K). I think the deciding factor between these units is whether you need full recording functionality or not. If you do then you have to go for the RH10.
