  1. Yep, there are loads of free readers out there.
  2. You can do it for free of course in Firefox, but I don't like reading my feeds as bookmarks. Plus I subscribe to a lot of feeds. Edit - you can also use Mozilla Thunderbird
  3. Just click on the icon at the bottom right corner of the browser and you should get and option to subscribe to the various feeds. You can then add these as bookmarks and they will be updated with latest posts etc.. when you click in the bookmark. Personally I used a dedicated RSS reader called Feed Demon which is very good. 4. What browser are you using?
  5. For such operations I usually use Sonic Stage. I connect the unit, then title the individual tracks in the "Transfer" window on the unit itself. If I want to create groups again you can do this in the Transfer window via a right-click and then select and drag tracks into the group you created. You should also be able to enter the Album via the properties of the track, again by right-clicking a track in the transfer window and editing this way. PS: Congrats on the purchase - saw the picture ;-)
  6. My NH1 arrived this morning via DHL. Big thanks to Sefu for all his troubles and shipping these. A great package at an incredible price. Edit: Battery arrived couple of hours later via airmail. Thanks again Sefu.
  7. Yep, DHL also came with my NH1 this morning, but I was out - they're coming back tomorrow - Luckily I have the batteries from my DH10P and EH1's charged and ready to go!
  8. You say is that right - I thought that was not a Kanji-capable remote? Seems strange that they would release a Japan-only model without a Kanji-capable remote - or is it the RM-MC35ELK?
  9. I'll second that, - hope you had a very happy birthday Ishii.
  10. Looks nice - metal front and back? And Sony finally changed the pouch!
  11. I think you already asked this question twice: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=12962&hl= http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?s=&sh...indpost&p=76820 I know nobody replied - but I guess that means nobody knows the answer and asking the same question yet again is not necessarily the best way to find an answer.
  12. I recommend buyfromjapan above all other ebay sellers for the RM-MC40ELK. Good prices and shipped new in proper retail packaging unlike a lot of Chinese sellers.
  13. Although the original question said favourite "Hi-MD player" I must say that I love all of my units equally. However, the EH1 is getting much attention lately and the good old NH900 is still the work-horse and the most-travelled unit.
  14. I think you're right, but this doesn't mean that all Li-ion battery powered units have it enabled. The DH10P has the same battery as the EH1 and NH1, but I don't think it will work on this unit - although I must test with the RM-MC40ELK. Interestingly the DH10P will show you the date of the track (or album) based on the properties in SS (maybe the RH10 does this as well I don't know)
  15. I have Custom1 with bass at +2 on all my units. I must say I'm a bit lazy and generally tend to leave at this setting whatever the genre I'm listening to, be it jazz, classical, electronic...
  16. It is unit dependent. It will only work on the EH1 and NH1 (haven't tried it with the DH10P yet - although it doesn't show up with the RM-MC35ELK in this unit) but can confirm it definitely doesn't work with the NH900.
  17. I really can't believe no-one has bought this yet, it's a great deal. I would have bought it myself but for the fact I have already bought two units in the last month!
  18. One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that the NH1 has the HD Digital Amp, and the RH10 just the digital amp.

  20. I think this may be tricky as the RM-MC40ELK is only offically sold separately as an accessory in stores in Japan & Asia. I think in the US you would have to go through the Sony DAPC (Direct Accesories and Parts Center).
  21. I think Hi-EP would (wrongly) give the impression you get more playing time. How about Hi-HQ or something. Or just forget names altogether.
  22. Did the NH1's make it out of the country lol - they don't have any batteries in the bundle pack?
  23. Any significant changes for us end-users or is it all back-end?
  24. You can plug a Sony 6V universal adaptor with 100-240V input into the cradle for example.. The ac adaptor is separate from the charging cradle.
