Yep. SonicStage CP's got Artist Link in it. Some people have major lagging problems with automatically updating Artist Links, though, so you might want to do that manually.

What's the difference between NW-MS70D, NW-MS70DR and the NW-MS90D?
kerfuffle replied to HEARDATBEAT's question in Audio
It can record directly from a CD without a computer. It doesn't seem to support the larger capacity Memory Sticks, though. -
From what I've read in the forum, there's no volume unlock for any of the flash-drive Walkmans. Sorry.
-
I use my Network Walkman practically everyday. I sometimes use my CD Walkman too, to test out CD-R Audio CDs that were just burnt. Can't use it as a USB drive, 'cause it needs electricity in order to connect to the computer. Same as imagine when it comes to updating my library. Generally, about once a week.

Maybe deepfloyd meant that when he's outside, he can't hear his music because it's too soft. *scratches head* That's how I saw it, hence my suggestion for noise cancelling or in ear earphones.
-
There's always noise-cancelling earphones, or in ear buds, if you want louder music . . .
-
I un-DRMed my DRMed files by converting them again - same bitrate and everything, but unchecking the 'Add copy protection' box.

On the topic of accessories, I think that it's a good thing that there are so little accessories for Network Walkmans, especially my model. If anyone steals it when I'm out and about, they're going to have a very hard time using it to transfer songs or charge it or sell it, 'cause you need the cradle to do anything with it, and unlike iPod docks, they're very hard to get. But that's just me.

As far as I know, the only thing you can stick in the connector is a Sony remote control, like the ones you get with MiniDiscs.
-
I can't answer the first question (because I don't have one ), but I can say that the NW-E00x does have an equalizer. According to Sony Australia's website, it's got 5 bands which you can customise, and presets in Heavy, Pop and Jazz.
-
Depends. If you want something bigger than 2 GB and/or more than one line display and/or a colour screen, go for the NW-S70x.
-
I went for the Sony because the iPod mini (with the supplied earphones) sounded distorted when playing electronic music (the genre I listen to the most), despite the fact that the volume was less than half of the maximum volume. But, with new Sony MP3 players and new iPods (not to mention different kinds of earphones), guess it's all down to individual taste.
-
Ah. I'm not buying a NW-S200x, so there's no need to complain about the fact that I can't go swimming with it. xD
-
MDR-808LP's the normal earbuds you get with most Walkmans. So it's not the sports-style earphones.
-
O.O So splash-proof means you can't take it swimming with you, but if you spill water on it, nothing drastic will occur?
-
Don't forget that the NW-S20x series are waterproof. Maybe that's why they're ridiculously priced.
-
I don't have a NW-E507, but I've played with one before in the Sony Central shop in the city. I think that 2 refers to the current Sound setting, when you adjust it.
-
Don't worry about that error. It simply means that SonicStage cannot find files that aren't already registered in your Library. Their way of telling you that you already imported the file into your Library.
-
We don't get pink here in Australia, so we're shafted on colour choices too. Not that I mind. The pink version doesn't look good to me.
-
Maybe you need to get the country thingyo to US instead of EU? O.O I forgot where you do that, though.
-
Damn, that sucks, then.
-
Couldn't you copy the ATK (I think that's the file extension for ATRAC CD tracks), then rename them so that they are OMA files, then import into SonicStage? O.O
-
My SonicStage plays supposed-to-be-gapless songs gaplessly.
-
The NW-A series Walkman can't be found anymore on the Sony Australia site anymore . . . So that must mean new ones are coming out! Unless Sony's given up on its hard-drive MP3 players . . .
-
I haven't had any problems, either, with SonicStage.
