At this time your best bet is the RH1 or M200 ( which is the RH1 with a mic), they come with mac software, and you will be hooked. Check the classifieds section, levanel has a nice one for sale. Bob

Just saw White Noise with Michel Keaton, there is a scene about twenty minutes in with the first EVT recorder playing Michael a minidisc of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena). Couldn't figure out which unit it was, will watch again and pause. Good movie BTW Bob

Saw and Amadou and Mariam last summer at the Edmonton Folk music festival, wonderful people, if you like them try Habib Koite Bob
-
mostly the negativeness, in the one case he obviously had an old unit and didn't like the long time needed to get music onto the media, just personal interpretation Bob
-
neat article, but what a bunch of losers in the comments, almost want to get hold of them and relieve them of their misery Bob

Listening to The Prodigy's ne album "Invaders must die" Brilliant, energy just doesn't let up, a sonic assault, but a good one, wish I had a monster audio system to unleash it on Bob

Look here in the classifieds, a few people put MD's for sale, you can also try ebay uk of france, should be lots available Bob
-
Not quite up to your number, but I see your point, happy collecting Bob

what minidisc are you using, only the 60, 74, and 80 minute will work. Do you get an error message? try downloading sonicstage from here, and see if you can download a CD or some mp3's. they are pretty straight forward, so you should be able to guess your way through it. Bob

Good luck, any 707 around is going to have head wiring issues, unless you use it like mine, and use it for a nnice paper weight. They were a nice unit, but there are better units out there, good luck Bob
-
You did good, nice to see that happening once in a while, Have fun Bob

Happy b'day lamewing, hope you still peek at us once in a while

I had that with one of my units, took the top cover off, tried not to lose the microscopic screws, found the head assembly, gently moved it to about half way, reassembled it, put a disc in, voila, it worked, and continues to work, may be worth a try for you if you are ambitious, if not, try a Sony repair centre near you, may be an inexpensive repair, never know.. Hey all, levanel is above board, gives a lot, if I hadn't already got one I would jump on this, great deal from what I can see Bob

Just listened to a couple of songs off the new Depeche Mode "Sound of the Universe" absolutely fantastic, back to the sound of Music for the Masses, can't wait to get the whole disc, great stuff, wonder if they're coming to Grand Cayman or Cuba on their world tour!!! Bob

Just found a group while I was listening to Ultravox and Midge Ure, group is called X-Perience, and Midge did a song with them on their latest album, song is Personal Heaven, But I digress, right now I'm listening to Magic Fields, nice stuff Bob

Hi There, Your 707 WILL NOT digitally upload, for that you will need an RH1 or M200, your best bet is to retire your 707 asap as the record head wiring will breakn and your unit will randomly erase your prized recordings Look around and se if you can find at least an NH-700, with that you will be able to live record with mic or line-in, and will be able to transfer to your puter. With the 707 it's only a one way street. Bo

Does Sonic Stage recognize the files? What version of SS are you using, should be at least 3.4 if not 4 seriesYou can also take the battery out of your unit, at least ten minutes, then try again. Were you editing on the disc when this happened? Bob
