I'll probably be in Canada soon, will be interesting, will be bringing the MD for sure, IPOD maybe. Where I'm from there is no media copyright legislation, so I wonder how thet would be addressed. As well, the IPOD was given to me, they could conceivably have a problem with that. As far as I know that particular piece of legislation hasn't officially been ratified yet, there is a lot of backlash in Canada from several artist groups as well as a lot of legal opinion that it cannot be enforcible. Hopefully level head prevail. and they thell the amerikans to back off on this one, Bob

hi there and welcome, a liitle more info as to unit etc would help. Biggest advice I can start with is upgrade your SS, go to minimum 3.4, if no to 4.0 or 4.2, or 4.3 if you are on Vista, good luck, Bob

AFAIK the only difference between the two is the bundled mic with the M200, check with quitarfixr, but again, afaik they are both mac compatible, HTH Bpb

I had the opportunity to "play" with an I[hone for a while a few weeks ago. Apart from the gimmck of it, I found very little to be impressed with. For now I'll keep my blackberry, at least I know it works, does what I need, and has buttons. Bob

You may think of trying or sister forum atrac life, it's more geared to your type of unit, we're mostly minidisc here, dabbling in a few other units, so the gang at atrac life might be a better solution. http://atraclife.com/ Good luck, Bob

Hi Micheal, you basically have two options: 1: record live into your soundcard, this is a real time option. 2: Get an RH 1 or M200, these will allow you to upload digitally, forum is full of this, the old units were basically one way, with only titling information sort of two way, with the advent of Hi-MD, you could digitally transfer recording made on the unit back to the puter, and with the RH1 or M200, you could pretty much transfer anything back to the puter, Have fun, Bob
