simple burner will also work but only if sonicstage is installed.
-
if there was do you think we'd have all the faqs & stickies without mentioning decent alternatives?
-
the low end nwe10x is also branded as psyc - comes in that lolly green with white
-
i'd think the days of higher than 5x5mW outputs has passed for minidisc, battery life tends to be a smarter commercial option
-
you could play the audio from the r900 into the line in of the laptop & record in realtime witha program like audacity [open source] or soundforge. i'd avoid doing it like that if posible, many laptops have quite poor sound insulation & you get static, pops & feedback. buying an external usb soundcard or doing it on a desktop pc would help this a bit.

everyready gold brand actually. egg frying? genius!
-
won't work, uses shared components with SS.
-
i'd probably buy the nh900 from amazon.co.uk - if you can get it posted, the price there is fantastic. if not i'd hold on for one of the 2nd generation of himd, the feature set for a new user is broader, & imo more flexible.
-
i'd assume they can with atrac3+ but being sony nothing would really surprise me.
-
actually i thought there was a net md for the car dash. ok. there was a sony yr 2000 model that allowed you to record but i don't remember the # anyway what you want is an fm transmitter. one popular model is the belkin tunecast. there are many others.

hey guys anyone know when the nwe40x & 50x are being released in North America & Worldwide? amazon.co.uk has them for preorder, amazon.com only has the little nwe10x series, with the simple lcd & circular body. one the same tip, anyone got an opinion about the colour i should go for? i really like the black & the silver, but could be a little blah? more pics here http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B...2992880-9598224 odd little review, may be a little wrong but i liked the bit about small children pointing at the dirty 'user' http://lordpercy.com/sony_nw-e407.htm do we have an amazon affilliation here? i'd much rather give credits to this website than this so-called-lord-percy - if that is his real name.

it's the ipod factor, people flash around a unit with no remote, if only to change tracks. the chicken & egg question is - is there no remote because people don't want it? - no remote because of cost? - or does sony think we all wish to be main unit dependant? for me the remote if one of the main features that attracted me to md. put the md in your bag & clip the remote to your shirt/pocket/bag strap whatever
-
tbh news aside, it's a pleasure to hear about a sony retail employee who actually knows about the technology he's selling. perhaps he glances at these boards? if so big up to you fella
-
aaargh no altered beast! however they do have golden axe, so there goes my next 5 hours. peace kuris & thanks *edit* oooh also bubble [not puzzle] bobble.
-
nice work tourist. i agree completely with these recomendations, also upgrade to SP2
-
maybe try ripping to wav or high bitrate mp3 with a program like cdex http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/ then import these files to SS
-
not nearly as 'youth friendly' or tacky coloured as i expected
-
there is a btch encoder that convert mp3 to atrac3+ only - so only hisp & hilp modes, no lp2 its at www.connect.com
-
no.1 you don't need to use openMG anymore. the newest netmd software is sonicstage3 which will work with all netmd devices from www.connect.com no.2 to delete the atrac3 version you can delete through the folder view interface of openmg / SS
-
if you were recording into the n10 from the same lineout as the others then it is in fact, true SP also. good to hear this works however.

saw the life aquatic with steve zizou loved every dammn minute of it.
-
happy birthday nis.

i have a tunecast II. provides a very good signal lock even over strong local stations. my only issue is that it really eats up the batteries
-
so does it say 100~240v on it anywhere? i'd be loath to plug in anything expensive that i own without assurance.
