Can you assign that to be used as memory?

I knew they would , I had said that I believed they would put at least the equivalent of the RH1 if not better into it . One look at the data sheet confirms it . One guy on the forum said that the mics in the D1 werent very good when compared to his AKG 426 , ( I thought to myself , JEEEZ dude that mic cost three times what the D1 does , waadya expect??????) 3000 dollar mic , going into a 2000 dollar recorder ,......... and the guy complains , ya'll thought I WAS bad .......whew!

What have you Done???? Rule #3 in the first post ... Get Cracky , Uppity , snooty , Jerky , Nasty , Smartassy , whatever you want to call it , I back off . I feel that if I am willing to make that kind of effort to help the people on this forum , then a simple amount of cooperation , and respect is deserved. If you dont feel that way , then I am wasting my time.

The Battery is probably a CR2032 sitting on the circuit board to power the memory systems . It may be Hard soldered in place , Circuit manufacturing at the time used a Laser spot weld , Instant heat ,so as not to damage the Battery. What can be done if your good with a soldering gun ( I do mean good , not just handy , there is a BIG difference) is to place in a clip holder instead of hard wired battery . That way you can change the Battery easily the next time it goes( about 3-4 years )

480 East , in my Kenwood DMC-F5R , Today at Hardoff , I found theOriginal Battery pack for it ( 6 AA's .... Power BABY!!!) and a remote , both in the Junk bin . Cost me a whole 500 yen total
