Yeah , actually "selling" something on these forums that doesn't work , is really bad form . The MD forum is supposed to be a place of trust , and community , to put it out as just a place to dump your broken gear isnt very cool dude . If it is broken , you either fix it , or put it at an appropriate price for spare parts , or give it away . We share stuff and trade stuff on these forums . This isnt Ebay .

Recorders when they are in there about 180- 220 , but just Player models can be had for under or right at 100 . It varies with condition , and model , but usually ( Not all the time) Most of the time stuff is in very good condition , I wont buy it unless it is . I have a relationship with a few of the Hardoffs , where they will let me thoroughly check gear before I take it . There are 3 fairly close to me , and a whole bunch of locations , that I have to take several trains to get to . each one has slightly , or even extremely different stuff . Never know what I will find . I bought an EH930 Hi Md player for about 90 dollars sometime back in perfect ( Tags and all ) New condition at Hardoff. It has not given me a single problem .

Yes Avrin is basically correct (Good job dude) On Page 39 of the manual (Download it so you can see) at the bottom section it refers to "Other Menu" or Option Menu when translated , in that Option menu is the selection for English in the picture above you will see Brackets around the choices in the menu , Redraw them on a piece of paper abit bigger so it is easy to see them , then when your scrolling thru the menu you can easily recognize the parts you need , by playing Matchup. on Page 67 it takes you thru the Process , Option , Language , (Japanese /English) in fact those are the only two choices there are .

well actually a Small mixer would be just as cheap an connect the MD to it Line in , would give much better control Tapco ( Mackie ) has a nice small mixer with Phantom power , and would give tonal control over the mic , because of the EQ on board , in a DRY room like that the Treble range might be a little piercing , so dropping the highs just a little would be nice , having the tone controls can make a very big difference in the way a room sounds . A lot of the new big diaphragm condensers have an extended high range ability , and the mic pre on the MD will take whatever they put out (it is just that good) so having a little Tone control is Very nice , and very desirable . # 1 With a Mixer , you then have the ability to add music background to the Vocals , a big plus when working with students, just hook the CD, MP3, MD, whatever player to the Line input on the mixer , the Mic to the Mic channel , blend the levels so it sounds good , the Line out of the mixer goes to the MD , put on your headphones and do your thing you superstar you .

Well I live in Japan , int the Current Sony Catalouge , (the Paper one ) that is in all the electronics shops , only the RH1 is listed , and is stated as out of production , on the business end or educational side the MZ-B10 is still in availability ( I have one of those as well ) Players left available are : EH-50 , EH-70 , and in some stores you can find the EH930 in either bronze or blue . MP3 and Flash are indeed the primary Display in most stores and new ones coming out every 30 minutes it seems . Yes it is a sad feeling . Every now and then I get a moment of "natsukashii) when I stop in an older Mom and Pop type electronics store , the small ones that used to be everywhere here in Japan , but are dwindeling faster than a Snowman in the Sahara , and I see a New in Box peice of MD history still sitting in the display case with original price tag from that year ( 1995 -96 ) still on it , and they dont realize that it is way gone an will not negotiate the price . The MD community is indeed the Last vestige of all things MD .

In HiMD mode , recording in HiLP , you can put 9 hours+ on one disc . ........... that really kills the workplace radio doesn't it !!!
