  1. Hey Ivan , I noticed the blur , on the moon shot , is probably due to Jitter , use the Timer function on the Camera ( so you can push the button , and then let go of it so it will shoot without Jitter ) I think you will get a much better result .Also dont use a Moon filter ....... Use a Cap on the scope . The dust cap that covers the end of the scope , Does it have a smaller hole with another Cap on it , or is it one solid cap. if you can set the shutter speed on your camera , to 1/500 , or 1/1000 on a full moon you will get much nicer results. I used to have one of those little scopes , fun to carry out . Throw in in the trunk and go . motors are cheap , from Orion telescopes . elswhere like Astromart , online a lot of used gear real cheap
  2. Blondie , Kate Bush , Jean Michelle , .....cool , I would love to have them , I would hope the OJ didnt get inside of the case , that would be a bummer , and you would NOT want to test them on your good player , they would have to be tested on something disposable , otherwise they would gumm up the head on the good MD PM me

  7. first find a freind that can read Japanese , then , with freind there , push in on the dial and Hold for 2-3 seconds, menu will appear. Then scroll down I think two or three sections "Language " should show (But it will be in Japanese) select , then scroll to the Language you want , select it , then exit menu .
  8. Agreed Raj , there are times when it doesnt load at all for me here . And loading pix ,is annoying so I use my Picasa and link them here instead.

    RH1 Troubles

Actually , on a Mac , it doesnt use Sonic , It uses a MUCH simpler program , that gets pretty close to drag and drop.
  11. On the title bar of the thread (Look at your post since it is first, the Blue bar just above your post ) all the way to the right , you will see "Options " and a drop down arrow with it , klik that and select your view .
  12. M-Audio Transit USB external is Optical in/out and not very expensive , comes with interface software that lets you make quite a variety of adjustments , to gain, quality, bit rates, sample rates etc , very nice . but The idea of track marks is that the software or device will recognize the specific format of the track mark . ie..... the unit you have if it has optical out , will put out its trackmark info , but the question is , will your software recognize it . Dont be suprised if it doesnt .
  13. Import the tracks into Audacity , one by one , and select the portion of each new track and copy/paste it to the end of the first track , then adjust levels Fadein Fadeout .... hook your MD to the sound card with a blank disc in it and record that mix to the MD , This is only ONE way , I am sure there will be other answers.

    Fickle Discs

Spiff , ...........Thermalconductive materials , will cool faster than the surrounding ambient temperature , and in doing so Condense. . Adiabatic lapse rate temp decreases at an exponential rate above thermal climactic change points . also the moisture in the air does not HAVE TO DISSOLVE minerals or materials to carry them , in plain Fact Rain is formed by Condensation of moisture onto particulates that are floating in the air , no particulates , no rain . If he has his Md in his backpack overnight , When he takes it out in early moring sun , .....it will condense . How many Telescopes do you own ? and just how much High altitude stargazing have you done ? Having to allow the mirrors to reach ambient temps before uncovering them . ? How many mirrors have you had to CLEAN because of someone NOT waiting . Lens = Opticals = condensation . Which Carries garbage . By the way I have been in some pretty moist High altitudes , and have seen the condensing with mine own oculars , my good armchair warrior freind Furthermore , at those temps the plastics and cable ribbons will harden and stiffen to the point of A: Providing inertial resistance to the head mechanism , making it difficult to keep the laser aligned properly . B: Cracking and eventually breaking , thereby making the unit unusable C: Just plain being disagreeable . D: All of the above . The Hypocratic oath , which applies in Both Science , and Medicine states "First , Do no harm " , Any advice given to someone who is actually doing something to benefit others rather than himself , should be handled with Extra Care , and with the desire to actually help , rather than state any personal accumen . Just my 2 cents worth

  16. Let me state first , whoever claimed Sting as Worst Lyric writer is an Idiot . He is practically Shakespearean , and most definatively a Thespian in the true sense of the word. Here is something from NPR's blog , to start it off . ( I like this one, I would marry this girl) Maybe Sting was singing about an ode to beer: So she fell in love, Her elbow on the bar, Thinking of fields of barley, Malt, hops and artesian water Among the beers of gold. 17. Right now , I am copying Pink Floyd's , Wish You Were Here , to the R50 , Optical , from the CD that someone here on these boards was so absolutely kind enough to send me ,( which will be thouroughly repaid) The difference between the CD and iTunes , is unmistakeable , any newbie that wants to jump into and audio arguement about their mp3 player need only hear this. Thank you ,Thank you , Thank you .
