yes , but I would need a Film camera with Manual Shutter , or a much longer exposure time on the Nikon . A motorized Equatorial head , to track correctly while the camera absorbs the light , I looked at Orion thru a 40 mm eyepiece , and I am in the city sortof , so its kind of bright here , but if I get out a little (there is a Mountain range nearby) . Judging what I saw visually , ......thru both the 40 , and the 25mm eyepeices , ... if I did Eyepeice projection , to film , using 50 or 100 speed, chrome quality for slides , a 1hour exposure and a soft blue filter , then a 30 minute with a red , would produce some pretty nice results . I am working on a new stand for the scope , I bought it , in bad shape 1 year ago , and have been rebuilding the gears , and everything when I have time , it is almost done . we will see what happens.

I will keep looking , let you know when I find one.

I agree , I use my 930 for playing the RH1 only comes out for transfers and recording . but still the Jog dial on the side gets on my nerves , Has been funky since I bought it , I got the 40 remote not very long after .

Nope never Bail on MD , Just the RH1 , I have several hundred MD's I will continue with MD's as long as Hardoff's doors remain open . Second , the PCM-D50 ...... Is Mac compatable . and has the same Mic pre as the RH1 , so My AT-822 should be happy with it , and the buttons on the PCM D50 , remind me of the R50 with the addition of Rec level on the fly , which the R50 did not have . I will post todays vist to hardoff in a different post with pics , some people here are looking for specific models . I found them .

Two new Onkyo Bookshelf systems , have HiMD , the FR series , I went and listened to one yesterday , quite impressive , and with the dedicated Sub out , you can have a very full sound .

That's absolutely correct , I only wish my RH1 was as usable as the r50 , I hate the Jog dial on mine , I have taken to using the 40elk remote almost exclusively with it .

I bought the Cheapest pair of Senns yesterday , and didnt take them off all day long , (even at the dinner table , my wife was pissed , so was my kid) I will give em a break today , but I was really suprised at the dimensionality , I have the NUDE EX Pro's with the cloth cable cover . and they dont come close to the 2,900 yen Sennheisers I bought yesterday. And I wil add that I am NOT one to say anything against Sony generally somewhat addicted, you might say.

I have been looking around , There are some on eBay and other places vintage audio forums . try there first.

I will go check the price again at the store where I saw it make sure it is still there , I dont have Paypal (I have a freind now that does though) I I'll talk to him and see if he would be agreeable to using it

Well I read the thread about the trim controls , and I think that kills it for me . The layout is nice , but weak mic pre's wont do it.

I'll agree , , Just recently the M-Audio released a new Microtrack , with all and then some of the suggestions I sent them , I had made a full PDF presentation . The have incorporated a new format that Bypasses the 2 Gig mark , ( I knew it was coming in a portable soon , we could do it in studios al the time ) so now you can fill the card if you want to Increased the Range on the Mic pre's as well . I will have to test it with an 822 and see what happens.

I had to Get stuff for the House today ( Honey Do list ) and was at Yodobashi Camera , ....Decided to stop on the Audio floor and look around a bit . I found and listen to Several pairs of Sennheiser Headphones, the PX-100 , PX200 , and some bigger studio phones . I Liked the sound of the PX-200 for portables , just not the fit . So I was looking for some cheap Buds to hold me over ( My old Sony NUDE EX's are in Bad shape) untill I can get some new Phones for out and about . I never knew about these , but Sennheiser has some sport type phones (Headband /in ear Like the Old Sony phones that came with everything before the R700.) And they sound REALLLLY good ( I Do NOT have the pleasure of having Symetrical structure so I am constantly repositioning the right side) The Sound is amazing for a Cheap set of phones , Everybody , just go get a pair of these for the fact that they are Sennheiser , and They ARE CHEAP!!!!!!! 2,900 yen
