Does Sonicstage transfer to Net MD in ATRAC SP quality (noob here)?

can i buy your net md unit that you dont want . the one you are going to return. they are hard to get in Pennslyvania??? -
i think 3.4 works very good.
-
dude its the batteries. screw the meter! all of my md units are very old and heavily used. i have never noticed an increase in power usage. just buy new batteries at least 2000mA hrs for aa's and you will see...

if you drag and drop the wav file onto the import screen does it work then?
-
the tab should be in the position slid open so you cant see the part of the disk under it. i think the write protect switch is stuck inside the unit. you could try to bank lightly on the unit to see if you can get it unstuck. there is also a chance the disk is bad do you have another one you can try?
-
its not a new unit its just an rh1 with a mic included...
-
there is a setting in windows when you right click on the drive letter. i cant remember what is says but there are settings for playback and recording. see if maybe they have been changed by one of the programs you installed.
-
did you check to see if the write protect tab is in the correct position?
-
thanks a lot. i will try it!

i wanted to transfer to my net md lp2 105 k to my standard md disk. i cant stand the sound of lp2 132k. the artifacts ruin the sound for me. i tried on ss3.4 to first convert to 105k then transfer in lp2 to the unit but ss 3.4 automaticly reconverts to lp2 132k then transfers. i guess this would work best for most people but not me. i like the way lp2 105k sounds better. i confirmed that my old open mg software version 2.2 transfers the actual lp2 105k file and just pads the extra bits. i know it uses the same space on the disk as the lp2 132k file but thats ok. is there any newer version of ss that will do this or am i stuck whit using the ancient open mg software?

how much do you want for it?
-
hi. i loved my n-707 but i have to inform you that you are asking way too much for the unit. you might be able to get $50 for it. it is already broken and they are known to have the famous broken ribbon cable problem that erases disks when ever it feels like it.. i really liked mine while it worked. it only lasted a year...

how much do you want for it?

i read a post earlier this week that mentioned there is a special version of ss shipped with the first rh1 units that has a special driver to identify the rh1 unit. if we were going to try to trick sonic stage maybe we could modify that driver. i will look for th file name in the posts i have read over the last week. i found the rh1 driver. maybe we could try to hack the file its called "NETMD052.sys" i have no idea how we could do this i am a technician not a programmer.. maybe someone could help?

no not if you have a standard net md unit. you will get lp2 quality which is much lower than wave quality. i was burning my mp3's to cd-rw's then copying the burned disk through my optical cable to my md unit to get true sp ...

MZNH1 not working - has anyone had any similar problems?

i know you are Russian and therefore must know everything! funny! next time you have a broken unit try what i said and you will see that your disk is blank!!!! that only reason i am sure is that i did it already... one thing i am not sure of is if it will have the same effect on a hi-md disk. i have only done this on standard disks. -
you need to install sonic stage on your pc then install hi-md rendered which can be downloaded here for free. it works by recording the headphone output from your unit to your sound cards line input.

lp2 132k sounds terrible to me compared to old sp or the original wav file. its so bad i would rather listen to lp2 105k even though it has a lower frequency response. i had a old version of open mg that would allow you to transfer the 105k rate as lp2 to net md with extra bits added as padding so the unit could read it as lp2 132k.
